if you put one slice of bread on top of another and cut it in half is that one or two sandwich,s or if you cut into four triangle shape is it still one sandwich or if you mix and match at a buffet is that one sandwich.....

One slice of bread on top of another?

Sounds like a poor attempt at stacking slices of bread, I prefer fillings in my sandwiches lol!

Now that the pedantry is out of the way.... to me, a "round" of sandwiches is a standard two-slice make-up cut in half, which I guess means that, as its referred to as a "round of sandwiches" (plural) then thats two, so one would be a half.... erm, maybe?

However, a "round" of toast is one slice...... and why a "round" when its square?
