Obviously we’re unable to have a professional wax at the moment.

What’s the best way to stay smooth?

I’m stuck with shaving, and it’s doing my head in. It’s not the same, but I’m only bothering when I want to take pics - no-one sees it otherwise. Personally I’m not keen on risking Veet or anything like that in such a sensitive area!

Shaving for me too. I buy the mens razors. They always seem to be better. Where do you both get waxed? Thinking for the future

It’s doing my head in too!!

Can’t seem to get completely smooth plus it’s awkward!!!!!

I feel the same - don’t want to risk the creams, could get more than I bargained for.

I can’t message you because we’re outside your age range and I don’t want to put a location on here.

Feel free to message and I’ll let you know where I go. She’s brilliant!!

Is it ok to message you? I’d feel a little odd posting it for all to see - maybe silly of me but I prefer not to put too much “normal life” stuff on here.

Oh god it’s sooo awkward! I still haven’t found an easy way to reach everything, and I’m always knackered by the end of it lol

funny story and no related to my privates but is a true veet story.

when i was about 12 my dad decided he's cut my hair and give me a baldy... i didnt really mind anyway so he was shaving my head and the razor started to go blunt and wouldn't remove little bits of hair here n there... so he grabs Veet or as it was known back then "Imac" so he rubs it on my head and sure enough it removed all the hair... fast forward a day or 2 my head swelled right up and i looked like a fucking alien at this point, went to the hospital and i felt so embarrassed as you can imagine and had to have a damp cloth on my head for days... moral of this story 1, dont trust your dad to cut your hair and 2, dont use veet

The wife used magic powder for a few years which was very good once you've worked out how long to keep it on for etc.

She's now moved on to a Braun silk epil. Basically a lady shaver but must say the results are very good and it takes literally a couple of minutes.

If you are going to use veet men (the shower one) do not, I emphasise do NOT forget to rinse it off from everywhere after 3 mins (max 6 mins), do not leave it in the crack of yr arse.

3 days later and still sore.

Due to lockdown I now use a Black and Decker hedge trimmer. Sure it nips a bit but nothing else will get through my jungle-esque bush.

You can make your own sugar wax but you also have to be brave enough to use it on yourself

Yea! I use this!! I think it’s great! I was using Veet before with no side effects.

Woo woo feels cool, smells pleasant and does a good job! I’ve taken to shaving more through lockdown (not always a great job done), but I always cream before a meet, as it feels smooth and soft!

Hope that helps x

Its a quite simple one: - 1cup sugar.

1/2 water.

1/2 a lime or lemon juice.

Heat on a low till it bubbles and turns a caramel colour.

To test its readiness just take a bit and drop it on a saucer with a table spoon amount of water. If the solution hardens and u can pick it up and stretch it then its ready.

When ure ready to use just take a small amount and stretch it like they do sweets, till its softer then apply and rip off.

Because its cold the wax will harden you will need to warm it up in a hot water bowl to be able to take a bit of it. Hope this helps . X
