Would you need a vaccine or be forced to get one if you were to travel for a holiday say in September?

I think it would be best to check on government and nhs health websites for guidelines.

We think restrictions will loosen and tighten depending on the virus for a good while yet.

Our guess would be in the near future you'll need either your vaccination card or a negative covid test to travel.

We could obviously be very wrong but that sort of makes sence... maybe

Even if it doesn't become, in effect, mandatory for international by way of airlines insistiing on it etc you may well struggle to get any form of holiday insurance without one, or find the prices sky high. We probably won't know what the actual restrictions against those who opt not to be vaccinated will be until all the adult population who are offered the vaccine and accept it have had it. But don't be surprised if it will become a lot more difficult for you to enjoy a holiday abroad if you decide not to be vaccinated

I have a Polish friend who says without the vaccine she would never be allowed home again.

We aren't even going to try and go abroad, making the most of what we have here and touring the west coast of Scotland this summer.

Why would you not want the vaccine? Hyper-allergic?

I think at your age it’s very unlikely that you will have had both doses of a vaccine, plus the necessary period afterwards for maximum immunity, by September.

There also hasn’t been any official word on whether it will even be possible to get any kind of certificate proving you’ve been vaccinated, so if travel companies or other countries want to insist on proof, even if you’ve been vaccinated you probably won’t be able to travel with those companies/to those countries as you won’t be able to prove it.

When you have the vaccine, you are given a card ,with vaccine batch no on it,And the date you was given it.
