Best hotels for meets (when it’s safe to meet!)

What are the best hotels to arrange meets at? By that I mean hotels that don’t require key cards to access the stairs and lifts. I need a hotel that anyone can just walk up to the room unchallenged and one that doesn’t lock the front door or have security checking people in reception at night.

And obviously this is for when lockdown is over and it’s safe to meet again. I just thought I’d use the down time to start planning for the future.

For day rooms we've always used the Village in Cardiff. They know the score and put all the swingers down one corridor usually

Village Hotel was great! There isn't really even a reception desk. Holiday Inn opposite the castle was the same.

I've used a park Inn in Cardiff. And the ibis on jct30. Both just walk to rooms.

Me and Vic had one of the workmen doing out the spa in there once on his lunch break thanks to who's near

Most are pay on the day. Last time I had a dayroom I used card on the day & the receptionist seemed surprised I didn't use cash.

That was in mid March & I was trying to aviod any unnecessary social interaction ...

The ibis in Newport didn't have access cards to get to the room from memory,
