I’ve chatted to plenty of people local to me and further away without any problems.

Some people like to chat, others don’t and sometimes the ones who do get put off by guys who think they’re entitled to something or that are very 1 dimensional

Lucky you.. But all I get recently is seen and not replied or a one word reply if I'm lucky. Feel like I'm hassling them them.

It’s very hard at the moment for obvious reasons but the best way to get to meet people is organised socials.Impossible at this moment in time but just be patient and hopefully things will start getting back to normal next year.

I understand that. I am always polite and resprctful in my approach. Never rude or dirty (unless the profile specifically states get to the point etc). Its very hit n miss on getting replies.

I just think women n couples could be missing out as im a great guy, proper gent etc (modest not arrogant too lol)

Always be polite, never ever be rude when they say no unless they’re a dick to you first (even then sometimes it’s better to be the bigger person and walk away) ..... and read profiles, a huuuuuuge must in my opinion xx

To be fair that made me chuckle!

The male to female ratios on fab don’t particularly help, but I’m not surprised there are plenty more guys than girls on here ...

Some ‘gents’ also seem to approach profiles thinking that ‘they must want to fuck as why else would they are on fab’ and getting annoyed / arsey when they (inevitably) don’t reply isn’t the way to go either. Just be polite and what will be, will be ...

I’d say just tough it out. Saying keep plugging away doesn’t seem quite right, more like some awkward innuendo. But I’m sure you get the point OP lol.

In my prior experience, someone will pop up and reply when you least expect it - just keep the faith!

The same old adage applies to this thread as well as many others in the past.

Single guys, however respectable and polite and fit and capable, are more than a dime a dozen on here.

Your message will be swamped by dozens of other equal guys in the hundreds of messages a day women get. Messaging on here as a single guy is a lottery. Literally.

My advice is always the same... Get along to the socials when they can happen again, and let your personality and charisma and whatever else do the work for you in ways a message on here can never do. Because if you manage to get someone to remember your name, you have done most of the hard part
