I'm posting this as I thought it was a really good service.

I had unprotected sex with an ex a few months ago and had been meaning to get a test from my GP.

I had a smear booked in February so figured I'd ask then. Unfortunately that appointment was cancelled as I was unwell. (I actually believe I had Covid-19). Of course by the time I realised I needed to get it done we were in lockdown.

So I still needed to be tested...Iwas recommended to a site called Frisky Wales where you answer questions and request a test in the post. They cover all STIs and supply swabs for self testing. The questionnaire was quick and clear and the kit will take 5 to 7 days. Results are texted to you.

Just thought this was a good service worthy of telling others.

I sent my samples off yesterday, as I was overdue an MOT. I think it was a trial programme that they've had to expand pretty rapidly because of Covid-19. My kit arrived within two days. I don't have any reason to worry about the results, but it'll be good to know.

If you're doing this and you choose the blood test option, try and fill the little phial right up to the top. There are two lines marked on it, and first time I did it to the top of the two lines, but there wasn't enough blood to test for everything, apparently. Anyway, all clear, good service, and will use again.

I had a vasectomy last November and was due to have my sperm checked in March, to determine the success of the procedure. Unfortunately, Covid came along and my appointment was cancelled, so I still don’t yet know for sure if I’m firing blanks

Don’t suppose anyone knows if there’s a similar service, online? lol

Practice nurse cant do smear as hospitals are not doing the testing. Wouldn't surprise me if a batch of women completely forget about smears now..

After seeing this thread over the weekend, I went onto the site and ordered a test kit and some condoms.

Test arrived yesterday and I sent it back. Great for a check up, when clinics arent seeing people.

Condoms arrived today

Definitely recommend

My sister managed to get a smear done 2 weeks ago in Swansea, so some are doing them now.

Let us know how quickly you get your results back. Mine were back in a couple of days, a female friend had to wait longer. I don't know if the female tests are more complicated.

Test was sent back Monday afternoon.

Just had results via text. (Thursday)

3 days to get results.

Less than a week from ordering the kit to getting results.

Fantastic, easy service. Definitely use again and would recommend

Results were all negative by the way!!

Incredible service, ordered test late on the 14th, arrived and sent back on the 16th, results received 21st (weekend caused a delay) - all clear.

I got mine back about 3 weeks after I sent them.

So if you dont get quick results, dont panic, they just have a backlog. GUM clinics are also referring via the service as well due to closure of usual clinics.

But yes excellent service, I found out by accident!!!
