I went yesterday about 11.30 am

Water was great and not too cold. Beach was quiet but i noticed it picks up from about 3pm.

We’ve never visited this beach and it’s been recommended by so many that we are both looking forward to visiting it when we can

Happened where the ladder access is and too the left on the out crop of rocks. Or just beyond

People park either by pub and walk monk ash and across fields or you can park by the lay-by further back before pub and cut through gate and field direct to ladders x

As the weather is picking up tomorrow until Wednesday Monksnash will be perfect.

However that said I have had to help people due to tide issues three times already.

I have checked tide times and it is perfect conditions. Tides are big but going out most the day after 10am...

I have had a few mails about the ladders so feel free to ask, however they are safe but if you have the slightest fear of heights I wouldn’t recommend it. Two ladders the first being be rival and only around 12ft easy... the second is around 15 meters but curves gradually outwards .

USE TRAINERS, if tide is in you can still go but it will be rocky... once down on beach walk 300m left to out crop of rocks. Walk around point there’s some nice flat bits to lay on or if tide out then the sand just other side of these rocks is where people go x

Closed for now... if you use ladders there is a pull in further back from the turn for pub where you use a little hedge path, into fields and down the gully x

A word of warning is I wouldn’t suggest playing at low tide when many Vanilla people are about passing at the tide line walking.

Once tide comes in it races! When the other areas cut off the rocks become secluded and that’s when you get people playing which today will probably be around the 6/7 mark x

We walked the beach way- found some people and set up tent. Think we have worked out where the ladders are to get back up

Always good, the coastal rescue team are good sports but would probably rather be at home chilling

Didnt get a chance to visit. Not sure where the ladder but is...I assumed the path on google maps would lead down to the beach without any climbing. Anyone else going tomorrow......i have an extra space in my car

Where abouts on the beach is it fine to go nude and where the fun is at? I see that the monknash beach carpark seems the better options to walk down to the beach since there are no ladders to worry about (past nash brook).

Also any ideas of how the tides will be down there ?

As above don’t worry, many people o. Fab as you are aware are all talk.. “I’m coming down” “bringing my girlfriend” but it gets cancelled blah blah.

It’s been common knowledge for ages and it’s a great spot still! Even after all these years, it’s because of the trek many can’t be bothered x

Here’s a great spot too we be there tonight

Google Bryn meadow golf course for postcode then as you go up lane keep going to top of lane and you come to cattle grid go over and you see us parked there around 11pm

Spent the whole day there and had quite a bit of fun xx. It was incredible. Nice to walk around naked in the sun. I find the heat has settled more so perhaps there will be more fun later...careful of the incoming tide

We also parked up by plough, the free farmers car park down the Bottom, then walked down thru the Cwm. But didn't get far down the beach, the water and waves were ovely tho.. Maybe venture further down next time..
