With all this C19 rubbish on the go, I find myself home baking more... Anyone else doing the same? Today I've made some Peanut Butter Cookies... Soooo easy to make, and ready in 10-12 mins (at 200)... Great for scoffing your face with a brew!

200g peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

175g golden caster sugar

1/4 tsp fine table salt

1 large egg...

Got any easy recipes?

I am not a baker of any sort but did you need flour or just the 4 ingredients?

Do you punch down after the first proving or fold? I've found that folding is the way forward.

We punch down and then put it in the tin to rise again, we put a couple of teaspoons of golden syrup in ours, gives a great little taste.

No flour or oats needed with this one, the egg helps to make a paste like texture, just scoop some out and then flatten it with a spoon or fork, job done!

Haha, yeah, it's a good little recipe I found online... Also make welshcakes, which are super tasty... I add a hint of cinnamon to mine...

Really enjoy baking.. Like previous posters, I too like making a loaf of bread from time to time... Find it quite relaxing tbh.. Really enjoy baking for me mates, too... We are always scoffing cake this end.. The best bit about living alone though is I can bake and scoff as much cake as I want and don't feel guilty about it, either..
