So lock down is gradually coming to an end.. What will you miss?

For me, it will be my morning coffee, outside in the sunshine, without having to rush or mentally prepare for the busy day ahead.. Unhurried, quietness.

I've been working all through the lockdown. I think I will miss the general feeling of "togetherness", this period has seen a lot of people helping out, a bigger feeling of community...strange that something that has meant we have isolated ourselves from each other seems to have brought us closer together as a society.

I totally agree, I've met neighbours I would never usually have met, we now stop and chat and share meals (socially distanced door stop drops). Every thursday we come together to clap and cheer and we always stay outside with drinks to chat after. It's been really eye-opening.

Bar spending more time with the kids I won't miss it at all. Need my boyfriend, rugby, the gym, pubs and restaurants back in my life. Work has kept me sane through it all really.

are your gym doing zoom classes? Mine are, really good hit workouts every day. They are open to all, even non members if you would like the link?

Thanks Mav but it's ok

Yes they are still doing classes etc online and I have a few weights so I do a bit at home but it's not the same. I miss the training environment and the wide range of equipment as I am a bit of a weights addict.

Clean air and how quiet the road has been outside my house but I'll be glad to be able to cycle outdoors again and use the gym.

I'll miss the quiet roads. No road rage and it's been so peaceful driving to and from work...now starts the traffic jams and miserable people because they have to go to work

I’m going to miss having a lot of freedom to do working from home and working when I feel like it. However I am ready for end of lockdown as I really do miss working in the office and being able to socialise with people physically

In a weird way, i’ll miss the sense of community, even though we were all metres apart! I’ve seen people and places adapt to situations they’d never have thought of encountering, and everyone has helped each other,

from shopping for self isolating people to children drawing rainbows on their drives

It’s been an odd time, but fantastic to see people pulling together

Near Cowbridge

Strongly suspect I'll be working from home for the foreseeable future and that restaurants and gyms will be the last to open so my current situation won't change all that much. Which is fine by me

When you drop groceries and necessities over have a bit of banter with them as it is surreal to the older folk and when you leave they say god bless you stay safe

Being naked & free, the peace at the end of a busy working day... I work from home BTW & I do put a top on for work meetings

I'll miss spending time with my cats & the dog & long online chats with my children & grand children, life gets on the way outside of lockdown & we're all too busy. But I'm shielding so things won't change for me anytime soon X

Why do we have to miss anything? Let's carry on doing what we are doing. I for one dont want to go back to what was "normal". The world is a better place now.

that sounds lovely! I too am having much more quality conversations and time with family via phone and family quizzing etc.. keeping in touch with people on a more regular basis than I usually would, which has been lovely.

Glad you put on a top for your meetings hahahaha

Working from the garden, power cable extension and laptops on the garden table, with a large iced jug of juice

But I will be glad to get back to the office and properly start my new job in Edinburgh

I’ll admit I have enjoyed being furloughed. Going to bed whenever. Sleeping in when I can. Chilling in the sun. But I’m hoping normality is going to make a come back soon. I miss meeting new people and going out with mates. I even miss work!! Shocker!

West Wales and Cardiff

The quietness, nature coming alive and all sorts of other things.

I almost feel bad saying it, but it’s been a really good time.

Ive worked all the way through the lockdown but I will miss the quiet roads, no trails in the sky from planes and most of all the togetherness of people through this.

I wont miss dull people who cant follow simple arrows on the floor in supermarkets and not being able to see my parents.

Like most people, i have been working from home. I will miss my walks behind my house. On the other side, i do miss the gym and boxing training and i can't wait for my gym to be open.

I'll miss not having to drive to work and contend with the inevitable traffic due to accidents on the M4. In fact, I'll miss not having to drive at all!
