North West Leeds

I would be interested to know if anyone can defend this imbecile of an excuse for a human being

Complete hypocrite as just a short time before his 'incident' as club captain he was advising Villa fans to support the NHS and follow government guide lines

Is 2 weeks wages a suitable fine?

Should he, as a privileged individual, be sanctioned more heavily?

My opinion is that the club should remove the captaincy, invite the FA to charge him with bringing the game into disrepute and publicly decry his actions and his failure to issue a full an sincere apology

Meh... he fucked up, got caught and got punished for it. End of.

Hopefully that sets the example better to his fans and supporters than his empty words on social media.

The worst part about it is that he was obviously d*unk or on something otherwise why did he crash his car and disappear for two days before coming to get it back.

He wasn't the first one to break the lockdown and won't be the last as for the so called drink driving I'm sure he will get his comeuppance at some point.

Aparently (tonights bbc news) Premier league clubs are still paying these morons full wages...(players) but have furloughed their non-playing staff at 80% capped at £2500/month.

Anyone else would be questioned by the police about leaving the scene of an accident.
