Relative has to work

hiding from cock pics.

I have a family relative who is involved in communication, but it is more taking orders for equipment rather than supporting keeping the network going.

He has not been given the option of not going to work apart from isolating if symptomatic, and has not been offered to be furloughed. He lives with someone who is vulnerable and he's worried about bringing something home to her, but also cannot afford to pay his bills unless has some help from the government, (which he wouldn't get unless he was furloughed, we believe.)

Is his employer allowed to keep him working like that? How can I get further advice for him?

Thank you anybody can advise me.

Simply not going to work isn't an option for him at the moment.

As long as the employer follows government guide lines . He’s there to work. He can’t base on what might happen.

It’s also up to him to follow hygiene rules before and after work and while at work.

Unless he shows symptoms and gets a letter from either 111 or hospital. Then he could have 12 weeks of with pay . Every employer different.

If he shows symptoms he won't get 12 weeks off on normal pay just statutory sick pay although his company have said that they think that is limited to 20 days.
