No. The potential for data breach and public shaming is off the scale without proper safeguards. And they just don't seem to be at all clear.

It's also odd that it seems to work in delayed time - what would then be the point?

Load of rubbish, the government don't test people flying in to the uk from China Tehran Italy basically all the covid hotspot countries, they don't give a fuck who's got it and who's bringing it into the country so I really can't see them releasing an app lol
