It would be nice to hear how you are getting on.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.

I hid my profile as the obvious extra workload seemed to produce more sexual innuendos from a few males on here.

All I will say is it's quite an emotional rollercoaster right now.

Difficult times but we work with the most amazing people. We are still smiling together despite everything.

Not just doctors and nurses who are front line category 1 workers. So many other roles as well.

I work with young people in residential care.

No disrespect to nhs...

It’s mayhem! Advice is changing daily. Equipment is had to come by and we are all shattered.

And a lot of us have sent our kids to stay with relative to protect them, but it’s hard not seeing them

My best friend (staff nurse) has had to move out to protect her daughter and granddaughter. Absolute respect to all category one workers, but particularly the NHS who are making sacrifices during this. I think the mental health of those putting family at risk through no choice or making sacrifices will be rather drastic.

Stay safe

Hull

I work in a GP surgery and our work has changed so much in last couple of weeks.

Admitted our first suspected covid 19 patient today. Never seen anyone looking so unwell outside of hospital before bless her.

Fingers crossed she will be ok.

It's easier where I am at the moment but still stressed and tired.

Can't imagine how hospital nurses and doctors are feeling.

All respect to them.

I tell you what...instead of the government promising to give a medal and a slap on the back to all the exceptional, dedicated, brave, caring, highly trained and highly qualified NHS nurses, doctors, paramedics, cleaners canteen staff, health workers and carers etc...show them your gratitude and appreciation and respect they deserve and give them a proper substantial pay rise. If fact give them the medal and the pay rise. and show them how much you value them.
