couple, us we him her.

I feel for you guys keeping kid's of any age occupied and compliant at the moment must be incredibly difficult.

Even for kid's the novelty of Netflix and gaming must wear a bit thin.

This is true, the last 8 days haven't been a barrel of laughs. Turns out the house isn't big enough to sneak away together either....

I'm guessing that those with gardens must be counting the decent weather as a small blessing.

Been very hard to be both working and having a 3yo in the house plus a 17yo doing music college work. The nice weather helped as we could work outside and have her running round. Weather looks pants for next week, so bring on the cabin fever! At least we are with our kids, unlike many other key workers, so for that I'm grateful.

I sympathise too. Our kids were fairly easy to occupy when they were under 10 but even they would have been bored under current conditions. Once they were over 10 it would have been extremely trying for all of us. As it is they're 30 now and contacting me saying they're going stir crazy

I don't want to jinx it but so far it's been a pleasure to be honest. We're getting so creative and having such a lovely time together doing all the things we don't usually have much time for. I feel worse for people on their own

Every sympathy with anyone with children to keep amused.

A scenario I quote: a couple who do not get on, with a couple of children living in a flat at the top of a tower block. Just to add to their woes, no work... Reckon they will either jump or someone may end up with being thrown off.

For me: Large hse (paid for), pension, near to open country. Daughter has own hse (again paid for), works for supermarket (relatively secure job today). Walking distance away.

I realise I am a VERY FORTUNATE MAN!!! Thank God everyday. Oh yes, in good health. What have I to complain about? NOTHING!!

8 and 10 year old.. Boys. They are struggling, not being able out to play, they aren't really into technology, it's their bikes and climbing trees that they are missing.

We are currently only able to admire the local view, Mike, but we have a good sized garden to isolate in! I'll be pleased to get out and about ASAP. Though if people can stop burning Rivington down, that's be appreciated

I'm a single parent to 3 aged 14 12 and 9. We have a decent sized garden with a big trampoline so have been making the most of the weather and enjoying a daily walk up the mountain

I can't smell it now thanks to probable Covid-19, but could yesterday. Bloomin idiots! Good luck to you, Mike.

We're doing OK so far, between schoolwork, PE, board games, reading, baking, going out on a bike ride every night and Disney plus, they've been kept pretty occupied. How long that will last I don't know!

Mine are 14, 16 & 19. It's been ok so far tbh. My boys are being sensible with x box time, helping in the garden and going out on the bikes together. My daughter is trying her hardest to keep occupied but she's going to struggle first out if all of them. She is really missing her friends.

I'm so pleased they aren't a few years younger and still really needy!

Lucky whom lives with their kids. Worse to whom does like me. And her mother is making my life a nightmare as I found out that she doesn't homeschool the child and doesn't help with the "homework" which supposelly should be walked through before letting my 8 years old do it alone... Then I told her my thoughts about this and she blocked my phone, so I can not even call my child for the past 24hrs... But I and I will win this battle with kindness

What a horrible blind creature...

I hope everyone here is dealing with their lives reliably, positively and being creative

Well mine are having little wobbles atm. My middle one is worrying about his gcse results more as the days go on and his next steps. My daughter is missing her friends massively. It's so sad.

I've (Mrs) have been trapped inside with 4 daughters for 13 weeks. I've resorted to Harry Potters way of life, hiding under the stairs (with an alcohol beverage)

Its been a blessing that we're both key-workers, and our son can still access nursery. But business as usual for us, just trying keeping him busy with lots of different things too. Like most he misses some of his friends who are not at school.
