Warning everyone you need twice as long to queue to get into supermarkets.. Good news things apart from meat, toilet rolls and cleaning products slowly getting back on the shelves

I found Aldi has been way and above better stocked out of all the supermarkets here.

Tescos was the worst.

Used a Tesco yesterday, very well organised. Queued for 10 minutes, only letting a few in at a time, so not many people in there,so it was easy to keep your distance. Got everything I wanted, apart from the elusive toilet roll

Sainsbury's Leigh.... Well organised limited queuing. Just an impression: their stocks seemed lower than else where... Went 10 days ago NO fresh produce. Improved by last Wednesday.

I went and did shopping for parents & grandparents last night. Tesco & Asda were both operating a "one out one in" policy, the shops were both fairly well stocked and I got almost everything required from both shopping lists.

Think they should have a queue system like the theme parks and able to buy a fast track ticket

Hubby needs to go shopping while I sit here shielding. He was planning to go after work but it looks like another 11-12 hour day at work, pounding the streets of coventry to deliver pointless junk mail. He really doesn’t want to have to queue for ages after such a long day just to get in but unfortunately, it looks like he has no choice. There are no delivery slots available at all

I don't normally shop in Aldi but as Morrisons is like a war zone went to Aldi it's got every thing other than pasta some things are limited....but why any one would want any long life milk ever never mind 4 bottles of the dirty stuff.... cows haven't stopped been milked twice a day and milk men will bring it to your house.

The few milk delivery companies that are left have stopped taking on new customers due to demand. People are buying long life because if they have to self isolate, it will keep them going.

I do sometimes forget people live in built up places with high demand, I'm very rural so sometimes live in my own bubble probably bit ignorant of me after all horrid milk in tea is better than no tea.

Thank god Ryanair don’t run our supermarkets , they would charge you for the baskets and trolleys, but guess priority checkouts sound good

Ive just got back from Sainsbury's. Had to queue for 30 mins, they were only letting 150 in at a time and they'd had a surge of people at the tills so they closed the doors until it settled down.

Stick levels were generally ok.

Would be better if people didn't shop in pairs, Aldi was only letting a certain number in. So two singles had to leave to let a couple in. Does it really take two of you? One could always sit in the car if you need company during the journey

By pairs I meant couples, but I'm sure if kids were old enough to stay in the car with their phones they'd be happier

I was at Aldi today & felt like I was the only one that gave a fuck about distancing. There was a security dude at the entrance who seemed more concerned about chatting than trying to limit customers. There is no way that this is only going to last for 3 weeks.

I went to Morrisons after 9am and all was fine, no queue, nearly everything was on the shelves apart from they only had the most luxury toilet paper brand. Also only packs of sugar reduced naked beans or single tins, and restrictions so I bought two of the fridge vat tubs for the first time x
