We are - and whilst we're doing OK because we can Facetime and the like, it's going to get harder. Only 25 miles apart, but we are where we are...

Same here.

Birmingham and Nottingham

One of us is high risk (heart surgery and asthma) so is self isolating. The other is trying to install new IT systems in order to get HMRC systems updated and tested to cater for the latest changes in tax systems (to cover off covid19)

Changes of this magnitude usually take 6 months to plan/implement. We have days.

Southcoast Gosport

separated and less than 10 miles apart. No idea when we will get to see each other. Texts, WhatsApp and two filthy minds will be what we have to keep us going

Unfortunately yes. M is a category 1 key worker on the front line. Being apart is about keeping the kids & I safe. Modern technology at least means we can keep in touch via messages, calls and video chat. It's hard, but necessary, & it won't be forever.

Another one here, 15 miles. Not known one another too long. Regular communication. She does not realise how important she is in my life right now. Thank you to her a million times..

I consciously stay single, I subconsciously thought this might occur.

Being separate from the other half is not good, especially a deep relationship and no matter how good technology is, the human touch is vital.

I hope this all ends soon for everyone, you have my sympathy.

Hope the IT thing goes well. You'll be lifesavers too.

The future's so bright

It’s times like these that you realise who is important in your life.

Yes my regular playmate is 4 miles away, she has an elderly father with health issues so just not worth it.
