" My relative who's a critical care nurse looking after covid patients without the proper ppe (personal protective equipment) isn't particularly interested in how much they're earning. Maybe go and volunteer at your local hospital and see what's going on, no one is walking about going 'kerching' with the extra hours in the conditions and often without the correct ppe to safely do the job.. " I don't think they actually care what they are earning and I'm sure a huge amount would rather be safe at home getting 80% wage for staying in. They are doing over and above their job to help the sick and dying and frankly they deserve every penny they get and some I have 4 family members with the virus atm and my next door neighbours son in law has become very ill too. Thank god for the wonderful free NHS for doing all they can with the current resources in a very, very awful situation! | |||
