"At the moment giving people a universal wage whilst we cannot work would be fairest. The example of people in new jobs is fair, as would be contractors who are getting zero support right now and those that have recently lost good jobs and now have to live off of savings. Why not give everyone who is of working age £500 per week no matter what their circumstances? It would cost about £180bn over 3 months, but it would mean everyone was treated equally." Makes perfect sense | |||
