Albeit briefly on December 17th where I was t ravelling from Beijing to Hong Kong. I am convinced the virus was around from at least November so it is likely I may have already exposed to it and although I have not had the horrendous symptoms to date I do worry if I may have been a symptomatic and may have passed on to others. I also cannot believe the idiots who packed our beaches and parks at the weekend. Very soon we will run out of IC beds and doctors will then have to choose who gets one and who doesn’t. The world does not shut down because for no reason

Scientists can very accurately identify when the virus made the jump from animals to humans

This happened in the 3rd week of November so it is possible that you have been exposed

Keep yourself to yourself for a while

I'm pretty sure the first recorded case in the UK was attributed to that businessman who had spent a week skiing in northern Italy after being to Wuhan so unless that was you don't beat yourself up too much about it. It was coming here whatever and no one is to blame although I'm open to any argument about blaming Donald Trump

Yes this last weekend especially was a national disgrace. The behaviour of some selfish and ignorant (by choice as we are all well informed these days) people has no doubt spread the problem and increased tragedy and the burden on us all. I read with disbelief, some of the comments made in here by the few who are dismissive of the seriousness of the situation. It’s reassuring that most on here are good people and it’s quite a revelation to see who the idiots amongst us are, both on fab and in society in general.

I've been hearing things that suggest it might go back to October, based on examining the (I think) RNA of the virus. First outbreak December, from the market but it might be a coincidence.

Here's an interesting graphic that shows how it spread from Wuhan. The person chinese researchers identified as patient zero was a 55 that was diagnosed mid november

You're not on your own thinking along these lines.

The 34 year old Optician who 'succumbed to COVID -19' after highlighting the outbreak via social media, his subsequent arrest, forced retraction statement, then being banned from speaking or communicating further information about the outbreak to China & the wider world might agree with you, were he alive today.

The Taiwanese also have their doubts about the origin of the virus - but then they would - and have stated those doubt publicly, much to the chagrin of the CPR.

I can't help but wonder about those two biochemical warfare research facilities in Wuhan, and what part they may have played in the COVID-19 crisis. After all one CPA General is on record as saying that if they could wraponise SARS it woukd bring nations to their knees.

I think it was knocking around last Sept/Oct. as older folk seemed more vulnerable the docs treating it could easily have been fooled into thinking just a regulrar flu and the patient is old therefore symptoms seem worse.

Doctor's not being aware the flu was as serious and highly contagious probably contracted it too and then spread began.

You are right, but not too blame.

Unless there is a test available your not going to know.

So many other routes for it to spread.

Even if he was infected back in December why would he need to keep himself to himself now ? It’s been 12 weeks ?!?

Shame they didn't publish the medical paper that came out in March 2019 warning about an air born Novel Corona Virus.

Not every idea voiced about covid 19 has to be a conspiracy theory given a bit of time and research simple things come to light I doubt we will ever know the full truth of what transpired in China given that it's a communist country with state run media.

If you have a bit of spare time give this a listen

https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/covid19

Granted its an American based show but he has good info and substitute some of his statements with what was happening in the U.S. with little things that were happening in the uk

eg trumps impeachment for brexit

You may think it's all a bit tinfoil hat and you may be right but just entertain the possibility that things go on in this world that you or I will never even hear about as the old saying goes

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain"

It's still worth sticking with the accepted literature sources, for peer reviewed scientific research evidence. Whilst this specific virus is new, there's obviously not years of published material to go through but I'd prefer that to a group who are perhaps biased towards conspiracy theories - I don't know them, so I'm making an assumption. At least if we are fully informed of the accepted scientific materials, we are less easily swayed if someone claims anything else that's unfeasible.
