Well ours are on strike here, then their lorries were vandilsed.... no rubbish collected for nearly three weeks and they went on strike again today

Spoke to the driver of our refuse truck today and he tells that tonnage collected yesterday and today is up by 35% than on normal days, Also that whilst tipping at the local landfill site noticed substantial amounts of food still in original unopened packaging.

Stupid panic buyers with more money than sense.

That’s disgusting and I’m a union member, so ppl realise the importance of the shit shop we are facing and as for thrown out food, just goes to show the mentality of the panic buyers ... hang yr heads in shame
