Covid-19

Most guys in general on here take risks by playing BB . so I guessing this Covid-19 should not be a concern to them. If you think about it we all take risks in everything we do good or bad its the individual's choice to meet up or not.

Personally, if somebody wanted to meet me I will probably say yes that's if I find them attractive and there is a connection for sex on not. Humans are social creatures that need company and communication if we follow the rules and guidelines that the World Health Organisation (WHO) has provided we should be fine. If it's just communication and company keep at least 6 feet apart and washing hands and so on. If it's not a personal meet it's the individual's choice and the risk they both wish to take it is the same when having unprotected sex.

Not really. Having unprotected sex means you and the people you're engaging with are at risk of passing on STDs.

Meeting and potentially catching/spreading covid 19 could affect anyone you meet or go near after that which then has a domino effect on anyone they meet or go near.

If you! and everyone you've had contact with in the last 14day has not had any symptoms then your clear. If the same is true of the others you're meeting, then all are safe. Simples. The measures are about reducing the possibility of you catching and spreading the virus. If every "YOU" does the right things, then the virus won't spread. It ain't rocket science.

you can get STI's from non-sexual contact. examples gonorrhea this is a bacteria and you can transfer from your fingers if it's on your fingers touching eyes and mouth can transfer bacteria, HIV this can be transferred with injections and blood transfusions, scabies, and crabs can be transferred via bath towels and clothing. I know it's not the same as a virus but they're all transferable with a non-sexual contact.

Sums it up perfectly. The former has concent attached.

The latter does not, they can only take so many precautions. It goes far beyond just you catching it. Which is what so many people seem to be missing the point.

I'm at a high risk group, do I care if I catch it personally? Not in the slightest, I run similar risk every year with flu.

Do I care if I catch it and am then spreading it to others? Yes, that is my main concern. Healthy or at risk, I don't want to be spreading it to anyone else at all.

Yes but also the none sexual contact spreading of those is nowhere near the rate of covid-19.

I think the chances of us giving an STD to an elderly relative are pretty slim. Covid is a slightly different matter. Meeting is a no from us at the moment.

Ok, think of it this way....

I don't know actual percentages but for this purpose it doesn't really matter.

You don't know if you have it.

You don't know who has it.

You don't know who will die from getting it.

If you think to yourself "I only have a 3% chance I'll catch it" then you're thinking about yourself

Change that thought process to....

I have a 3% chance of killing someone if I go through with it.

Still wanna meet, or would you prefer that to be a 0% chance?

P

It's about controlling the spread to the vulnerable. Have some respect for others. This guy sums up the problem we have

Another stupid thread to try and justify someone doing something selfish!

Ya know what go and meet someone and if you and that person get the virus and need medical attention go and die in a ditch! The NHS don’t need more stress!
