Calling all Geeks! Gamers, bookworms, film nerds - OUR TIME HAS COME!

Stuck indoors and can't leave the house for days on end, maybe weeks? To us this is heaven!

But spare a thought for those people who are climbing the walls with boredom after just one day of social distancing. Let's help them through it with some useful suggestions for books, games, films, box sets etc to get them through the long days indoors. After all, even the biggest wankers will get bored with Porn Hub eventually (erm, won't they?)

Your suggestions can be in any genre or specifically post-apocalyptic, for those people who just can't get enough gloom.

Luckily I've got a huge stack of unread books. I don't think I'll ever be bored enough to go back to 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, but it seems appropriately titled for these times.

For a 1950s take on how quickly British society could collapse in a crisis, try The Death of Grass by John Christopher. But then again, maybe it's best not to.

And I'm 50 hours into Wasteland 2 on Steam, and loving it, although I keep getting my ass kicked by oversized Gila Monsters.

What are your suggestions?

I love the laundry series by Charles Stross, lovecraftian horror set in the modern age against a creeping horror. Also the Akira manga (book not film) series is good and long... Akira is also set in Tokyo in 2020 just before the 2020 Olympic's so it's topical too!

Games, right now doom eternal and animal crossing is my choice of games!
