I am a bit concerned that I could be falling ill.

In the last few hours I have developed a sore throat and now have a headache as well.

Aside from the above, no further symptoms.

Have taken paracetamol and think I will have an early night & go straight to bed.

Guess I will have to see how I am in the morning.

thought only those admitted to hospital were being tested?

it would be good if you do get it.

I've been self isolating for 7 days and the not knowing is driving me mad

For info how are they going to test you?

You go to them or them to you?

Results in 48 hours - so you and your household in total lockdown until you get result?

worrying about it.

that's buggering up your mental state.

your sweating because your shit scared not because you are unwell.

one of the best things you can do is tune out from the media. I know its everywhere and its the one thing people are talking about but this can and will bring you down if your a worrier.

so. do not listen to news channels or talk radio stations as its as bad as when Brexit was being discussed.

if someone wants to talk to you about it calming tell them 'shouldn't you be over there away from me?' job done.

but take it easy and if you do become sick you know where to get information and what you should be doing.

I totally agree about staying away from the news....

Fear and anxiety can induce some really nasty physical symptoms and can make us panic about our symptoms...

it is different to the flu. you get a fever and a sore throat and an persistent cough which can lead to breathing difficulties

You won't get a test unless you end up in ICU.

Oxfordshire/Hampshire

Your fever where your temperature may reach 40 degrees if when you're body is fighting the virus and building its own antibodies. For some people with low immunity, this will be difficult to do and can lead to other diseases like pneumonia which can be life threatening. If you got shortness of breath etc call 111 for advice. There's great reputable youtube videos and on WHO and government website explaining the symptoms. Not everyone gets the same symptoms but fever is the main symptoms as its your body trying to fight the virus.

couple, us we him her.

You see it's very confusing.

And I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

I Have been feeling a little bit Magoo for about a week.

Nothing serious just that constant feeling like I'm coming down with a mild cold.

No fever no headaches, asthma has been playing up for about a month anyway.

But I always get this every year at the start of hayfever season.

Normally wouldn't bother me antihistamines for a week or so kick in and it's back to normal unless pollen is particularly high then it's a bit of wheezing and itching eye's.

I'd feel a right fit self isolating for hayfever with same symptoms I have every year for past 30 year's.

So I'm going with a common sense approach.

If any symptoms different from normal develop or a high temperature of persistent cough start's then I will.

I've read load's of information over last week and thus far I don't seem to be symptomatic.

I had a sore throat one day earlier in the week and a slight cough but nothing persistant, it makes you so paranoid. Both were gone the next morning after a good night's sleep, if they were still there the next day I'd have been worried and probably had to isolate.

I've been so stressed out over it all trying to make sure everyone else is OK and has enough supply's I'm sure I'm a little run down again now and the paranoid android takes over again

Jools and I just chatting I think everyone is feeling totally stressed out and tbh wankered by it.

Paranoid.

I know one thing if I hear Boris spout his political nonsense " do the right thing at the right time" crap I'm going to scream.

He shouldn't be trying to get political brownie points at this time.

Lead the fucking country and help the people NOW

That's the right thing at the right fucking time you shaggy haired twat.

Still the alternative of Corbyn being in the same position is scarey.

Well I slept pretty well, and feel o.k. this morning. There is just a slight soreness still in my throat but the headache has gone so no need for more paracetamol. I have taken my temperature and it is normal.

I was diagnosed with pneumonia at end of Jan. Had to take couple of weeks off etc (so kinda self isolated anyway) GP has now said it could have been COVID19 so have put a note on my file. When test for antibodies is available...they want to test if I've had it and therefore immune. Kinda hope I have!!

Oh yes. To find out if you have had it and are now immune will be very helpful to know.

Another point to make on this COVID19 pandemic.

So far in about 4 months 10,000 people have died worldwide from a contagious, airborne virus passed on by close contact, coughing and sneezing etc.

In the same period 500,000 have died from another contagious, airborne disease passed on in exactly the same way.... TB. Where are the headlines on this??

couple, us we him her.

Christ on a bike.

When are people going to realise it's not JUST about covid 19

Think about every patient being treated in hospital for this that's another patient with another illness not getting seen too.

The more cov19 Patients the less anyone else is getting treated. Be it flu, tb,cancer heart condition whatever.

The hospital's are literally going to turn into triage centers for cov.

Think about it, think about the more people infected the more will need treatment so everyone who doesn't go e a crap about spreading it think it may not be about cov only!

The secondary deaths will start to mount up but currently these aren't included in the figures if it was the amount dying would be much higher.

Please stop comparing it to other illnesses.

THE GOVERNMENT WOULD NOT BE DOING WHAT THEY ARE DOING BECAUSE OF MASS HYSTERIA!!!!!

If they can find people who are immune they can use their research from the antibodies in their blood to help work towards a vaccine. So yes it is very useful.
