COVID-19: Could Hydroxychloroquine Really Be the Answer

Hydroxychloroquine

Could the old generic malaria drug hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil, Sanofi-Aventis, among others), which is also used for the treatment of rheumatic disease, be an essential treatment for COVID-19

Malaria is common in areas such as Africa, South America, and Southern Asia. This medicine is not effective against all strains of malaria. Hydroxychloroquine is also an antirheumatic medicine and is used to treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and discoid or systemic lupus erythematosus

.

.

USA thinks this may be the answer

Side effects seem to be worse with long term use, couldn't see anything too awful on wiki for short term use....

Some common antimalarials do have proven properties in slowing virus production. So I can see this being a logical avenue to follow.

The answer is to not sell various animals with no health inspections in sweaty little markets in the arse end of nowhere, clearly....

We have food safety regulations for a reason. The chinese poor who shop in back alley markets have no choice in order to get enough protein....whilst the rich get fed by beautiful ataff.
