45 people have now died in Ireland in the last 24hrs and been listed on funeral times.

Just to get the number of corona victims into perspective.

None of the above 45 died from corona.

Only 45 in 24hrs in the whole of Ireland? That's pretty good since averaging most deaths are natural causes / terminal ilnesses then it's rtas. Is the data including all registerable deaths?

Perhaps the amount of survivors should be listed just to balance the scaremongering.

I wish they would publish those figures via fb etc, may do something towards stemming the panic a bit, thanks for the info. X

"can we confirm the age group of these deaths ???"

Is it important since its not corona related? People die at any age for a variety of reasons. Their deaths aren't relevant to the death toll of covid19

Unfortunately as of 21 Mar 20 the number of patients who have recovered is just 93. PHE dashboard is updated daily:

It's pointless showing numbers recovered if you don't know the numbers infected

How can they publish recovery numbers when people are not being tested in first place to establish if it is the virus they have?

Figures are based on assumption.

It's the multiplication increase daily that's the issue and inability to treat if it rises too fast.nobody wants to take someone to hospital to be told we are full in icu and can do no more. It will end at some point.

Playing some sort of bizarre top trumps with causes of death is seriously fucking pointless.
