Mr P can work from home, Mrs P can't, who do you think will be home with the kids?

On a mooch

A lot of patience needed as the children will be feeling it as much as us.... no school, no friends, no routine

Tough time for all, be strong for them show them how you can cope together.

Some happy memories and bonds could come from this time. How many have had the opportunity to spend this much quality time with their kids, I haven’t as always been working

You’ve got to be positive

Yes and men I'm a single dad and this is my worse nightmare I have 5 children I need to work and that amount of child care would kill me

And how can you get child care if there is nowhere they can go

I didn't realise we'd developed asexual reproduction.

I think an announcement about school closures in England will come before the end of the week coupled with an announcement about the country being put into lockdown like they have in France.

I have to say, I really appreciate teachers after today!! How they get five subjects in in one day.. we were playing hide and seek in the dark last night, (no reason just randomly) we were all in stitches. It is nice having more time with them....but we are in week one...

"Schools are closed from Friday until further notice."

But not for children of key workers. Including healthcare, delivery drivers, supermarket workers etc apparently. And children with an EHCP

Back to days when people spoke perhaps, a chance to re-educate the kids to verbally communicate and not through iPads/phones/x boxes to keep them quiet.

Schools off is fine but

Kids must be kept in or supervised at all times of else there's no point

None of this, of course you can go out to play, just wash your hands when you come in
