Do you think it's risky to meet during the pandemic? I do still see people putting up meet requests.

What stance is everyone adopting?

Well lets be honest fab is full of liars you can't deny the fact some will say anything to get a fuck. You only have to see all the bullshit claims on getting tested for sti's so its fair to say people would bullshit about not having the virus to get a meet. For now its best just to stick with people you already know and who you think have the respect to be honest with you.

No its not too risky provided you keep 2m distance between you and wash your hands and dont touch contaminated surfaces. (Still not 100%)

However by not meeting you dont need to take those precautions.

my choice is no meets whats yours.

But obviously the activities you might engage in with swingers is likely to bring you into closer, intimate proximity with people and if you're a kisser direct contact with 'respiratory droplets' which carries the virus!

Many guy's on here are not even getting tested for sti, so if this virus can be transmitted via sex which it can. Then I advise anyone to find a safe FB and stop doing random guy's.i was tested last week for sti and was cleared. However I was told to be very careful by the doctor as this virus is likely to be passed by someone.

I posted about this , this morning in the lounge.

It’s down right irresponsible to post meets at the moment.

Swinging was becoming more acceptable in today’s more liberal society, if the media get hold of the fact that the swinging community are still arranging meets etc, you can bet it won’t stay that way.

Meets facility needs to be disabled by fab, and the ignorant and selfish on here should think on.

Let's get this into perspective.

We've all still been prepared to meet during a pandemic that has lasted since 1981. The AIDS pandemic is ongoing and has claimed between 25 and 35 million lives, but, as we know what precautions to take and how to minimise risk we are able to carry on.

I hadn't considered as far as this particular angle, but it is a good point.

More immediately and fundamentally, I side with the argument that, even if you aren't afraid of the consequences of coronavirus for yourself, there is a shared social responsibility in trying to reduce the rate of spread of the infection.

Keep the infection rate down; ease pressure on our NHS; don't let it touch our vulnerable people.

The question is can you stay virus-free until the vaccine is ready in the latter part of the year?

Not really a comparison though is it.

We don’t know yet properly what precautions or how to minimise risk of covid 19, other than keeping a low profile and upping personal hygiene, which isn’t rocket science.

We are all probably gonna get it sooner or later, this isn’t something that will be over in a few weeks. If you have elderly family then you should be doing your best to stay away from them anyway from now on. If you are fit and young then meeting won’t be a problem, probably better to get it out the way and build your immunity to it.

Exactly I think people are acting very odd regarding 1-2-1 interactions, the advice is avoid large gatherings to limit the pace to protect vital Nhs resources , it’s not something you can avoid long term , it’s all about timing. Many people will have already had it and don’t know, Luther didn’t even feel Ill but had it.

Lets be fair if you get it and you arent in the risk category its a few days in bed feeling shit . That isnt a pull on NHS resources unless your one of the idioits who go to A&E for a cold (they exist).

I wouldnt not agree to a meet incase I caught the flu its the same thing but you have to think of your own circumstances and make the decision based on those .

I'm not meeting in general right now.

But besides that... I'm curious how many of you that 'aren't meeting' due to this virus go to work every day? Send your kids to school? Order takeaways? (delivery drivers) Expect swingers clubs to be closed even though its a business just like one you work at, go shops to or order from? See family?

Basically you voice your concern, jump on the fear life band wagon and think everyone should isolate themselves however completely contradict that with all of these actions.

If you are genuinely that worried about it then there is no discussion needed, you stay home, stop your life and quarantine yourself.

I have a comprimised immune system, normal flu is fatal for me so this is actually something I would be worried about having. However... I personally don't want to put my life on hold when we have no idea how long this will last.

So I'm still leaving my home and shutting the fuck up about this in person. My only gripe is the idiotic panic buyers going for the loo roll, when they are most likely the very same people still doing all of the above... Ie leaving the house and risking themselves haha

This virus is already had an effect on society, lots of sport, events _estivals etc being cancelled and very soon it people will be loosing jobs.

My business is part of that industry and today I have already put staff on less hours. Meeting for sex is not even on my mind at the moment. (I never thought I would say that?)

I know people that have already lost jobs, which has put them under tremendous financial pressure. Also landlords where people can no longer afford rent due to hours being cut.

These are adverse effects that comes with the "panic" of spreading it, so going over the top to take action. People still need to live and move on with life, some people cant afford to self isolate for 2 weeks

Swingers clubs need to close because the bodily fluids we like to exchange all carry this virus and we don't yet have a way of preventing the virus taking hold. The slowing down of the rate of transfer is what will allow the NHS to have sufficient treatments available to keep most of us alive.

Ok let's understand:

It's not the fear of catching - we know most can get over it. It's the fear of transmission! We all have parents, we might come into contact with elderly or the ill when we're out and about. For some out there, it IS the black death.

It's the burden of responsible behaviour we have to consider NOT whether we're ok with being ill.

and take all measures necessary.

"No its not too risky provided you keep 2m distance between you and wash your hands and dont touch contaminated surfaces. (Still not 100%)

However by not meeting you dont need to take those precautions.

my choice is no meets whats yours."

Really sensible. Would love to meet people for a shag but as my cock is only 1.8m long I am being responsible and staying inside. Keep safe

I suppose the issue is how many meets, how many people. If you meet someone with it who are not showing symptoms or vice versa you are going to spread it.

Yes, most of us will get it at some point but the infrastructure can only cope with so much at once.

Everyone has to assess their own risk and then the risk to others.

I for one won't be told I cannot just due to others' opinions but when we're on lockdown I'll comply.

Exactly.

I posted about this , this morning in the lounge.

It’s down right irresponsible to post meets at the moment.

Swinging was becoming more acceptable in today’s more liberal society, if the media get hold of the fact that the swinging community are still arranging meets etc, you can bet it won’t stay that way.

Meets facility needs to be disabled by fab, and the ignorant and selfish on here should think on."

For all those that try to justify meeting by saying others are still coming into contact with others in shops etc and are therefore just as much at risk..... You have sex with people in shops? No of course you don’t. If you are sexually active with people, kissing and swapping bodily fluids, you are putting yourself and others at risk far more than mixing in every day life.

It’s individual choice but take responsibility for what you’re doing without trying to make others feel like they’re overreacting.

Risking our lives is exactly what we’re doing. I have children and elderly relatives plus my partner Abby. I risk taking this home every day after nursing people who have it. The attitude of some on the forums has made my blood boil. I’m alright Jack springs to mind. Work a 12hour shift with me and see if you change your mind.

How do you know you don't have it, have you been tested?

How do you know the woman you met didn't have it, has she been tested?

Your behaviour is reckless, the guidelines are clearly telling us what to do.

The objective is to reduce the rate and spread of the virus, not to ensure your survival as a fit & healthy person, it's to ensure the survival of vulnerable people the virus could kill and you could pass it onto.

So yes you will be judged, because you're ignoring guidance in place to protect the whole community, not just yourself.

Sadly we are now paying the price for the "me" society in which we now live.

Sense of entitlement

Throw away culture

Put more faith in what influencers say over educated qualified people.

Would throw their own grannies under a bus if it means saving themselves.

Maybe so, but we absolutely don't all need to catch it now, all at the same time!

The NHS would collapse due to demand, which would result in thousands of deaths many unrelated to Corona.

Spot on. However i hope those people decide to take a different _iew of themselves and the world if Covid19 affects them, or it affects people they know. Sadly though i think they would look to blame others for whatever life throws at them. I do have a couple of people who i meet but we are not meeting whilst we have been told to distance ourselves socially (whether we have symptoms or not). I am also blocking those who are still meeting, as whilst my moral compass is not perfect, to risk a life knowingly is a step too far so i'd rather avoid them in the future. It is not forever so in the vein of Strictly Cum Dancing.... keeeeep wanking !

So selfish of you and living in a densely populated area where you meet someone, they meet someone else, and so on and spreading a virus that you don't know you have, just to get your kicks whilst your baby is asleep! Such a catch and role model for society. Well done you.

Those that have had a comment to make about....

Hope you're ALWAYS at home (including others living with you) not sharing cabs, cars or public transport. Working solely on your own at home. NEVER going out shopping for food.....

Let's be honest before we persecute those who want to have sex in their own homes.

If you go out, you could catch it anywhere.

My advice, don't forget your gloves. You'll need a basket, to carry your many many items, that have touched many many hands!

Oh and don't breathe neither, it's airborne.

I didn't panic buy to fill my home. What a plonker I am!

Following sensible precautions now hopefully means we will never arrive at the lockdown situation.

It's not about panicking, or reducing risks to zero, that would be impossible.

It's about managing the risks as best as possible, obviously the more social encounters we have the higher the risk, that increases exponentially with physical, especially intimate contact.

Well I haven't been out the house since 6am Tuesday. I've had a plumber in the house to fix a tap issue. My daughter went to college yesterday afternoon and didn't arrive home until 10pm. I've a regular guy coming round on Saturday night, who's a key worker, who's face I'll be sat on for at least two hours...

No I think you're being pretty sensible, unlike the hysterical panic buyers you mention, but personally I think being physically intimate with someone who could be doing the same with others isn't such a great idea!

Am I being selfish like the panic buyers and putting myself and others at risk?.... (I don't mind the criticism btw) As long as its not hysteria typing

No I think you're being pretty sensible, unlike the hysterical panic buyers you mention, but personally I think being physically intimate with someone who could be doing the same with others isn't such a great idea!"

He's not seeing anyone else but me. I trust him. Thanks for replying, I appreciate that.

Yes. In answer to your question, I do think it’s risky and unnecessary at the moment.

Absolutely not.

Dick and Jane BOTH show early symptoms. Jane STAYS HOME??, gets tested ?? and awaits her results ????. Dick goes???? to work ??, stops for a quick drink ?? at the local bar, pops by his parents???????? house, hits the gym????, begins to feel worse?? (eh, but even if he does have it, he's healthy????, so he'll recover quickly?). Dick finally decides to get tested ??. Both Dick and Jane get ?? positive test results. Jane infects no one?? once she started to show symptoms. Dick potentially infects dozens, if not hundreds, by his SELFISH ?? behavior. Be like Jane??. Don't be a Dick ??.

copy and paste and stop dick from being a dick !!!

"Nomeets for the foreseeable and anyone who does is a selfish dick. Drs and nurses are risking the lives to save ppl and you being selfish are risking spreading it. "

This.

I saw messages from the elderly in a care home on Facebook today, THOSE are the people we are protecting and we all must do our bit. For people's frail mums, dads, and grandparents. Surely we can go without sex for a little while (and couples don't even have to, you lucky buggers!)

If we don't to social distancing voluntarily, that's when the government will have to take stricter measures and MAKE us all do it.

Our grandparents went to war, surely we can all sit on our sofas for a while be kind everyone!

Meet people you know, stay 2 metres apart, wank, he throws his jizz over her tits and if she’s a squirter, happy days for both him and her.... she can soak him from across the room.

I dont disagree

Will you apply the same logic next year with regards flu like symptoms?

If my mum catches the flu she will most likely die what did you do last year to prevent me catching your flu ?

Northampton Somewhere

I have so many people messaging me and putting about meeting up on their status.

Social or not don't people listen to the news?

I wish I could share a pic I have of the power of social distancing on this thread. It could be the difference between saving thousands of lives or not.

Anyone risking meeting at the moment however well you know someone is a fool.

This is deadly serious and i won't be meeting anyone until this pandemic is over. My life is precious and that of my family too! I won't even get to hold my grandson who's due any day now but it'll be worth it to keep them all safe. We should be in lock down...it's the only way to contain the spread. Hats off to all our front line workers and NHS staff battling to keep us all safe without even basic protective clothing!! This government should be shot!

What stance is everyone adopting?

Everyone has to assess their own risk and then the risk to others.

I for one won't be told I cannot just due to others' opinions but when we're on lockdown I'll comply.

Your actions will cause a lockdown.

After all our fuckwit PM said, use common sense and following the advice on social distancing."

Of course it will .

"For all those that try to justify meeting by saying others are still coming into contact with others in shops etc and are therefore just as much at risk.....

You can meet without fucking. I turned a guy down yesterday because he assumed sex was after coffee. Besides, Costa would have thrown us out naaaa costa are very cosmopolitan as long as you stay on customer side "

I

Well I’m working in mental health services and we are at breaking point due to front line staff becoming ill also the schools closing and having to pay fifty pound a day for the child care they are apparently providing by an agency for keyworkers . We are having to carry on working as normal I am working g 12hour shifts supporting people out in the community with a mental health diagnosis.

My life has not changed because it can’t I can’t self isolate etc plus I also have a disabled son at home and it’s just me and him ... so all this stay at home and watch Netflix it’s a load of crap some of us have to keep going .....

"Sadly we are now paying the price for the "me" society in which we now live.

Sense of entitlement

Throw away culture

Put more faith in what influencers say over educated qualified people.

Would throw their own grannies under a bus if it means saving themselves.

I could go on.

We have turned into selfish arseholes you only have to read threads such as this for proof.

There are some of us who are astute at risk assessing and will not put others at risk but may choose to put ourselves at risk. How? We live alone, have been clear of people for 7 days and have no symptoms. We meet someone. Another 7 days clear of symptoms and so on.

Admittedly the average person isn't free of seeing people cos they don't live alone, they are still working... If i was one of these I'd rethink.

BTW I have to be astute as I'm a vulnerable person.

Staggering the suppression of the virus, in my educated opinion, is the best way. Stopping transmission will not eradicate the virus. So we need to squash the curve of transmission to help the NHS. The govt is aware of this otherwise we would be under lockdown already.

Don't be a sheep and think for yourself.

Absolutely. The rest of us have to maintain our mental wellbeing. Stressing over this is no good for anyone. In fact it does the opposite due to rise in cortisol. Our bodies are designed to cope with occasional surges of this and adrenalin, but not long term stress.

KEEP CALM, CARRY ON BUT ENGAGE YOUR BRAIN.

I have no idea of the truth

This in my opinion seems plausible

Thus today iv told of 15, 76 year olds who dont think the rules apply to them

All I get is a shrug I dont care when I suggested they could be at risk where they were and their potential illness could tie up resources that could mean a person from a road accident or heart attack would lose their lives

Some shopping is essential. We need to feed ourselves.

Having sex can be delayed until things are safer.

Don't you get it? It's not about YOU and YOUR immune system. It's about the rest of the people you infect during an asymptomatic incubation period.

What stance is everyone adopting?

I posted about this , this morning in the lounge.

It’s down right irresponsible to post meets at the moment.

Swinging was becoming more acceptable in today’s more liberal society, if the media get hold of the fact that the swinging community are still arranging meets etc, you can bet it won’t stay that way.

Meets facility needs to be disabled by fab, and the ignorant and selfish on here should think on."

This 100%

All these people still meeting or arranging big gatherings , imagine the shit storm when it gets out that loads of social gatherings where in fact them dirty disgusting people (I'm a swinger that is NOT my stance ) are not only passing sti's around but corona all because they cant keep there libido in check for a few months , I'm sorry but its horrendous the amount of people who are willing to pass spit between each other and spread this virus .
