Yep, a few years now. Cpap made a huge difference to my life almost as soon as I started on it.

Sleep apnea actually is a big reason why people can't diet , due to the action going on with the breathing

How? In my opinion, dieting/eating healthy has not a lot to do with breathing. Exercise potentially does. But as there is a correlation between high BMI/being obese and sleep apnea, the advise is, generally, to lose weight if possible

I can understand it, before I had my machine, I would wake up and feel like I had run a marathon, my body and mind were finished for the day and it had t even started.

The physical exhaustion would leave me ravenous and I’d eat to satisfy that but far too tired to do any exercise.

I've been using a cpap machine for around 18 months.

I would say the best result is me not snoring at all so my GF and I have a far better relationship.
