"Recent bulletin..... "The UKHSA STI reference laboratory (STIRL) has confirmed 20 cases of ceftriaxone-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae in 2026. This includes 5 cases associated with a swinging venue in the Midlands, none of whom reported travelling abroad. An additional 3 epidemiologically unlinked cases were also acquired in England and not associated with travel abroad. Cases have been identified in bisexual individuals for the first time, as well as in heterosexual individuals."" Wrap before you tap

"When you’ve got someone asking for a bareback gangbang on here and saying they are not bothered by STI checks and have loads of people offering to join in it’s no wonder. " Well yes there is that side of things. You can see how easily it spreads, if each of those in the gangbang have met say four others before, then another four after which is quite easily done. You're very quickly into hundreds of people who have had the same sexual contact in possibly only a few days.

Other than on say a theme hosted event where someone else set up the event. I been to many clubs all mover the works and bareback has always been common as well tbh not banned. " The overuse of antibiotics when not needed is never ending. People dont finish prescribed courses or do not take as recommended - this is a huge issue which can only be addressed with education around correct use. Poor infection control in healthcare settings is shocking, i saw somethong recently that made me blink twice with the thought of are you for fcuking real? - this person was a doctor! Antibiotic use in livestock is nothing new - standards are not uniform when it comes to imported foods, people will say, buy local but sometimes buying glocal (via global food chain) on a budget means that its cheaper and will make your funds stretch. As for promoting a healthy diet on local produce, well, people need to shift their tastes to local seasonal produce - i doubt that will suit the avocado, poached egg and sour bread toast enthusiasts. Most importantly, people need to take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to the point of approaching this through the lens of the 1980s/90s response to HIV/AIDS with prevention, treatment, and care being the top priority and better sexual health information / education. " This is all very true.

Then why is there no mention of this document, apparently sent to all GPs, anywhere on the internet? What is the point of sending such a document to GPs if they make no attempt whatsoever, anywhere in the UK, to publicise the information to their public? Moreover, as far as I am aware, all reports by UKHSA are available on the gov.uk website. It is highly irregular, in any event, to circulate an internal briefing note outside the organisation: internal briefing notes are discussion documents that are not peer reviewed. Finally the language of the report you quote is not that of any official UKHSA document.

"Clubs aside the bareback thing seems to be getting worse if anything. A lady I know joined a couple of months ago and has gone a bit mad with about 40 verifications plus dogging where no veris most likely. She doesn't care and probably all bareback and swallowing. Another lady who I know attends clubs got syphilis which is obviously a really serious one and can be transmitted via oral or even kissing, never mind bareback, and not always visible signs. " That's sad. We test regularly and show each other results in my circle. I was watching a documentary about a gay guy with HIV with a high viral load who intentionally had unprotected sex with other men as a top and came inside them. Some were infected, and some were not; it was just a ridiculous luck of the draw. Not everyone has enough sanity and will power to be careful and selective and do regular testing. I give my partners unprotected oral but I'm wearing in clubs, parties and events to do that with multiple men. The more men the higher the risk. Same for men but there's less women in this lifestyle for various reasons but often linked to SA.

Don't be so presumptuous if you don't actually know, there is no need for judgements on unfounded presumptions.

I don't know wether the public version that will eventually be released will mention swingers clubs but if you want independent verification ask your GP." This is what I thought. That it was not a public knowledge thing. You need access to a specific journal or internal sexual health platform. They don't often release certain things to the public because it might cause a panic. When I go to the clinic in person, they do all the checks and offer me thigns because they know I'm a swinger but they also have access to more recent and live data. They are looking at 100s of genitals and samples a day. They know when the rates are low and when the rates are high but most people just use the home kits so they never interact with a sexual health professional. I go regularly because GP's are generally shit at gynaecology, especially anything to do with hormones. So the clinic checks for STI and STDs be they also check me for any lumps and bumps that could be a fibroid, cyst or tumour. My grandmother had a tumour the size of a grapefruit and didn't know! A lot of women don't know what is going on with their vagina, ovaries or uterus. They have pain or discomfort and they just ignore it. Meanwhile, there are a whole bunch of illnesses that can make us women very, very ill that aren't even sexual diseases or sexual infections. The men only have to worry about their prostate around age 50. age 45 for black men and age 40 for men who have other relatives with cancer. Definitely get educated about transmission and depending on how many partners you have in a month, increase the testing and visits to a sexual health nurse/doctor. Some months I hardly see anyone apart from my regular poly pod partners, like this July gone. Some months I've played with my partners plus several others at clubs and parties.

"A worry of mine, sh24 no longer do free kits in my area testing will be less There is no excuse for not testing even if kits aren't available in your area. "We'll be absolutely blunt. We have NEVER played 'bare' except orally (honestly we don't like sucking balloons either), but we contracted it a few years ago. Told all openly at the party of the fact too, so they were aware and could take the necessary steps.. Obviously we didn't play in the knowledge and utterly clear on our tests last month. Long story short, if you're not testing genitally, orally or anally it's a possibility you're carrying without knowing. Sorry, but true xx" We do the all 3 test thing because if you tell the provider that you do lots of casual sex or a swinger they automatically send you the swabs for all three. I feel like all sensible people who do what we do should do the all three swabs, only way to stay safe and get treated early on if there is an issue. Luckily we have always come back clean. Very honest of you to tell your experience and very commendable.

The STI clinic that I go to are really nice and helpful and as I was totally frank about my sexuality and promiscuity actually suggested appropriate vaccinations and pills and knowing what a slut I am give me so many condoms that I feel guilty that I have not used them all when I go to be tested again! So far I have been clear every time, but it has meant refusing all sex without condoms and being careful generally.

It is our preference, just like people are free not to meet us. We know there is risk, we choose to take that risk, because to put it bluntly, we like sucking cock bare, like cum and receiving oral. We test, and so far have never caught anything but accept that may not always be the case.

The closest some got to that was pointing out free condoms were available in the play areas. Not one club ever stated a ‘no rubber and you’re out on your ear’ policy, and I never saw any staff ‘policing’ play areas to check condoms were in use….. Is the new “I got lucky in a club last night” the meaning of ‘I got out with a clean bill of health’? 😁

Responsibility shifted from the NHS to local authorities in 2013. "A worry of mine, sh24 no longer do free kits in my area testing will be less SH 24 stopped supplying in our area because the local sexual health clinic started online testing kits. They now send the packs out. I think they could see how well the SH model worked and have replicated. You should check your local centre

"A worry of mine, sh24 no longer do free kits in my area testing will be less They aren't stopping anything in London. There are multiple clinics and multiple online testing kits. Paid and free. Can't have millions of people shagging unprotected and untested. It would be a public health crisis. The NHS cannot afford that...nor the economy. Heck they have free testing evenings/nights at the spas and sex clubs.
