vaginal dryness

I guess a few guys may well have experienced this with their wives especially those approaching the menopause or even after it. My wife completely dried up after menopause as well as being diagnosed as diabetic type 2. That was around 10 years ago and although frustrating we both got used to pleasuring each other in different ways. Anal was never acceptable with either of us so oral and manual stimulation became the rule of the day. We had tried all solutions - lubes, vitamins etc but no joy and I didn't ever want to hurt her so we simply abstained despite my initial and continuing total frustration.

Luckily we are open about everything and she didn't mind me masturbating whenever I wanted to relieve my frustration(s) which has been good but not ideal as I worried about her having little enjoyment apart from when I performed oral on her which she still loves despite being very dry.

Well a bit of a result last week as wifey was told she really needed to go onto a limited daily insulin(fixed dose) and stop some of the other type 1 medication (Metformin I think). So far so good but late last week she said she felt decidedly 'wet' down below and low as well as very horny and behold after a couple of days we managed to engage in almost full penetrative sex for the first time in around 10 years...wonderful!!

Well the improvement has continued to the extent that she has now gone from being as dry as the Sahara to being as wet and flooded as the Amazon.

I thought I could instantly adapt to what we did 10 years ago but am finding it difficult after years of abstinence as I am still afraid of hurting her - my last wish above all.

I know it is probably a temporary mental block but we will work on it together in the 'cumming days' so to speak.

I thought I would post this for anyone else with similar issues to show that all is not lost... Just persevere...

My thanks go to St Insulin for his solution and long may it last.... Now to get MY head together I guess.

Have fun guys and never give up on those you love.

Thats an amazing turn around.

Does your wife use vaginal oestrogen? You insert it directly into the vagina and can also rub it into your labia and clit. Works absolute wonders in terms of correcting the loss of oestrogen directly where you need it. It helps repair skin by thickening it and bringing back elasticity and improves sensation.

Have fun 😉

We tried all that over the years to no avail to the stage we stopped asking for medical advice. It was easier but not enjoyable for both of us to abstain and obtain pleasure in other ways - none of them as pleasurable as penetrative play may I add!

2 weeks on and all is good! Finally we have a sexy life like we had 10 years ago but I am still finding it difficult to get my head around it when we make love as something deep inside me says be ultra careful and don't hurt her.... I know it is simply mental not physical so guess I need more practice to get back the lost 10 years
