I got diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a couple of years ago but one of the symptoms was a total loss of pleasure from orgasm.

Occasionally now, I’d say about 1 in 20 orgasms I feel something. The lack of pleasure/satisfaction is really frustrating.

I enjoy all aspects of sex and pleasuring women gets me going but the frustration is still there.

So I’m wondering if anyone else “suffers” and what you do to get satisfied, everything works ok and I still get the desire but no pleasurable feeling most times.

Hi there. Fellow MSer here. Obviously I cant discuss your particular problem, as I am not a bloke.

I have altered sensation down below , but found my nipples are more sensitive than before.

I find that I have to be in the right head space, really into the guy and fully relaxed and turned on. Hence one off meets dont work for me.

Do you think it might have a psychological side to what is going on ? Or do you think it is purely physical.

It might be worth chatting to your Neurologist or MS nurse about things. I am sure they have come across it before and might have tips. Check the MS Society website or phone the helpline 0808 800 8000.

Sorry if I have gone into MS Society Volunteer mode, and deviated from Lizzy the swinger

I know there are guys with MS on fab, as i have chatted to two previously. Other gents might also be able to relate following a stroke, brain injury or Parkinsons.

I hope you get some helpful tips. Feel free to message if you want to chat. I was diagnosed in 1999 and still enjoying life x

Hi

I got diagnosed with RRMS 14 years ago when I was 35 and it deteriorated to PPMS 3 years ago.

I very rarely orgasm or ejaculate whether from sex or masturbating. Yeah it's incredibly frustrating as I still get the desires and enjoy pleasuring women. But I just kind of accept it now.

I take Gabapentin which apparently can cause issues with ejaculating. But do I stop taking the medication for a while and see if that changes things or keep taking it and just come to terms with the fact it will very rarely happen for me to cum.

Sorry I couldn't give you any advice of what you can do to change things but As Lizzy said try reaching out to the MS Society or chat to your MS Team.

Cheers Jack, thanks for opening up about your experiences. Hope it reassures the OP that there are other people around who empathise and that he can talk it through with a health professional.
