"I had Tonsillitis 2 years ago, and it left my tongue permanently "cracked". Anything above even the blandest of spices is like eating ghost-chilies. It was only this morning that I picked up my regular prescription of the only thing which can treat it, being a barrier liquid applied with a syringe.
