I'd guess that the two things aren't related. The good news is that ED medication isn't necessarily off the table if you also take post-stroke meds - it certainly wasn't for me 🙂. Talk to your GP.

DM me if you prefer.

Had quite a significant stroke six years ago.

One particular medication I had ,(administered by a pump in my stomach) for spasticity put "me old fella" out of action for over six months. Having to discuss it with my consultant in a room full of other staff and trainee doctors was a tad embarrassing. I secretly hoped I might be invited into a cubicle for some "practical help" by her. Perhaps if I went private??

ED meds sometimes have to be avoided with regular medication. Makes quite a good case for "practical" solutions to be made available??

I'm on Warfarin with an INR target of 3.5 and haven't had any issues with ED. Plenty of fatigue mind lol.

Talk with your GP, don't be embarrassed they hear about ED every day and there are many different causes and solutions.

Keep away from social media and this site unless for very general information as everyone's medical journey is very different.

Good luck.

the only advice you need is your gp and/or consultant not everybody is the same just as not all strokes or heart problems are the same ...some people cant take ed pills as we found out with hubs he was put on viagra years ago and was blue lighted to hospital and critical care ..

i know people are trying to be helpful but they are not you go to your gp or if your still under a consultant ask them do not be embarrassed as its a bigger than you think problem for many guys of all ages ..

also it could mean there needs to be more investigations as there maybe other problems as well please please see your gp/consultant
