Not so much secondary cancer, but had surgery for prostate cancer and then needed salvage radiotherapy 9 months later as a mopping up exercise as my PSA levels started going up again.

Worrying times, especially the waiting (for tests or results). It's difficult to do, but I tried to tell myself 'not worry until I knew I had something to worry about'.

Fingers crossed for you. Sending hugs and positivity.

Yes I had secondary cancer, stage 3 initially they knew it had spread but managed to clear it all a year later they done routine tests and found it had spread. Second time around was nowhere near as invasive as first round of chemos and radiation. As being observed post initial rounds they tend to catch it quickly.

Don’t be worrying it may be nothing this year we thought it had returned got biopsy etc all clear. I know easier to say don’t worry xxx Get the tests and take each day as it comes. Remove anything that may be causing stress in your life until you have the word and most importantly do things that help clear the mind xxxxx

Wishing you the best of luck with everything Dove xxxx

Currently waiting on biopsy results myself after having Cancer 5 years ago - so I can completely empathise with you OP. The waiting is torture and takes weeks/months... I just keep trying to (gently) remind myself that there's no point worrying *twice* over something that's not yet founded. But that's easier said than done I know.

Fingers crossed for you!

Had cancer twice. Surgery both times but second time around also had chemoradiotherapy and so far no return. Wishing you all the best, being positive in my outlook worked for me. Take care.

Yeah it's the waiting that is the worse bit.

In the first recovery phase from my first diagnosis. It sounds serious but really, nobody gets it. Even my Mrs doesn't quite see it. I'm kinda waiting for that 2nd one. I feel it's mine to own. Yeah, it's a bit shit but that's how it's been & how it might be on the future.

Nobody really gets it. We deal with it ourselves. We get good at it. Shit though, isn't it.
