Honestly it's something you need to discuss with the doctor. Many of these drugs can have unwanted sexual side effects. But there are things they can either prescribe as an add eg viagra or Cialis. Or some of those drugs you listed would have alternatives that you can be swapped over too. Especially as those side effects are affecting your mental well-being. I definitely recommend discussing with your doc.

Mr here, when I take a blue pill and it's just with Mrs, then I'm rock solid.

Add another person and it doesn't work for me.

Speak to your GP, Ed is a side effect of many of these medications, lithium on its own can cause havoc with our systems.

I’m sorry I don’t have any actual advice for you

Defo talk to someone about depression. Must be an awful thing to go through alone.

I’m sure many of us would listen mate.

I have bad ED for reasons I don’t know. ( spoken to many professionals. ) and the best one I tried is silderfil ( I’m sure it’s spelt different ). Viagra makes me ill.

Also ask your Doctor for the jab. I tried them a few times. Not to bad. ( blow your cheeks out as far as they can go and more. It’s a similar feeling ) but obviously you have to stick a needle in your cock so have to be happy doing that.

All the best mate. Hope things work out for you. X

zoplicone is ok. I really didnt realise they still prescribed lithium. Are you on it for bipolar? It was like living through treacle when I was on it.

I switched to sodium valporate which is an epileptic drug but also works as a mood stabiliser. Im also on lamitagine which is also a mood stabilizer

I think mild depression with no drugs can also effect erections as can lots of drugs ,also if you are getting older your testosterone normal drops too lots of things can affect it go to G.P ,embarrassing yes but only way to fix problems..

I have Low Testosterone and have been on TRT - testosterone replacement for 8 years and when you start, you are told its for life.

It certainly helps and im on injection every 10 weeks but from week 7 to week 10, my willy stays soft until I get my next injection, then it's all go again.

My wife tries everything to get me hard from weeks 7 onwards but even with her sucking me, or her sitting on my face and sucking my cock at same time my willy stays dead, soft and floppy.

I was on Lithium for Bipolar for a few years and had no ED issues. Managed to come off it and am psych medication free. On Warfarin for a blood condition and that seems to cause the occasional hiccup.

Might be worth chatting to whoever prescribed you lithium, it’s an old drug and there are many more newer mood stabilisers on the market nowadays..

Excuse my ignorance but don't they make batteries with Lithium?

I found it to be the most effective. Quetiapine, Sodium Valproate etc are newer but I found had more side effects. The docs used Lithium as a last resort after I became manic on a different mood stabiliser.

Due to medication i've been put on the pills don't work. Seen doctor, was recommended to use penis pump, tried that, didn't really work, was told to try injections, not much success with those, now waiting to go on the waiting list for a penis injection. Spoke to a guy that has one, he loves it, gets hard in 15-20 seconds lasts up to 12 hours

10 weeks is really not ideal. Are you on nebido? Obviously talk to your specialist but you would be better moving on to weekly injections of enanthate.

If they won't it would be worth asking for a blood test at week 7 or 8 to see where your free testosterone and total testosterone are at. Almost certainly below what you need to function...

I struggled with one medication but then switched to sertraline. It didn't seem as hard to get hard (pardon the pun) plus with a viagra I was soon hard again and a added bonus I could go for hours

Yes it's the same chemical but in much smaller amounts for medical use

Lamotrogine, sodium valporate and lithium are all prescribed for epilepsy and also various mental health conditions. Which is why the side effects list is so long - some of them only being applicable if you have a mental health condition.

They all interrupt functioning of the brain, which in the case of epilepsy is useful for just slowing everything down enough to prevent fits. For the most part exactly how they function isn't understood, it was just noticed they were effective against certain conditions so got prescribed for them. Which means if one of them doesn't work for you then you should ask for something else as not all drugs work the same on each person.

These drugs are pretty powerful and mess your brain about. I am thankful they exist as they do control my epilepsy, but they come with side effects (in my case my brain just doesn't work as quickly as it used to, which is to be expected.

I have not experienced ED from these drugs, but Depression by itself can totally be a cause of ED, so it's possible the problem isn't the drugs but the illness being treated.

It didn't lower my sex drive but, I couldn't get fully hard. When I switched I had to be really turned on to get hard, that's why I tried viagra. Either way it gave me amazing staying power. Strange but greatly true

Finaghy, Belfast.

I'd suggest no tablets. Maybe try 1 of those suction pump things? Or even a buttplug, after research on how to get the most fun, and best results, from doing both properly. Lots of lube.
