Hi all. Anyone suffered with any issues in the past? Dr told me I have inguinal Hernia but worried about other pains I get regular in my stomach.

May or may not be related - but an inguinal hernia would normally only give pain at that site (and that is a v bad sign if it doesn’t go away). Need to see your GP again…

Depends on where the pain is and other symptoms.

When did you last get your prostate and colon cancer check done?

Also are your pancreas, gall bladder, liver and kidneys functioning ok?

Appendix check also?

Or like my unfortunate sibling, inflammatory bowel disease/IBS?

here's a good link for stomach pain.

Definitely go back to the GP.

Don’t read any of this bs by posters. Go get checked by a doctor.

An inguinal hernia won’t go away by itself and will need repair. But again, ask the doctor.

Fabbers, don’t post on stuff you simply don’t know enough about

Well as you clearly haven't read what's in this thread, then you're posting on stuff you don't know about.

The OP has said that he's been to his doctor, who presumably has put him on a waiting list. He's asking about other pains that he thinks may be unrelated.

In which case the advice should be go back to his doctor, and ask about them.

Which proves my point: ask the doctor, not the fabbers.

I had an operation to treat an inguinal hernia back in December 2016...I'd lived with it for over twenty years, as I never really had any pain with it, it was just a lump on the right hand side of the public area, which I had to push in occasionally... Towards the end it popped out constantly, and I began to get pain too, so I went to the docs, and was told it was rather a big one, and was on the operating table three months after my initial doctor's visit... I was off work for seven weeks, as I have a heavy job.... I've also got an untreated hernia about two inches above my belly button, which I've had for many years too, but I'm just trying to live with it.

near knock

I had 2 hernias last year. 1 small one belly button no problem, but one in groin it slipped around right testicle was as big as your hand. Had emergency surgery in July last year and still not recovered as it’s touching nerves all the hospital keep saying it’s time. Can’t bend down or lift anything and just over the last few months getting hard ons again naturally. I awaiting a scan again. Funny thing is when at hospital for appointments 2 different doctors have said you have 2 testicles
