Wasn't exactly what I wanted for my birthday but....

Both knees, both hips, both wrists and thumbs, left shoulder and elbow.

Anyone else going through this and how do you cope with the constant pain?

I have psoriatic arthritis... Fortunately diagnosed before it got too bad, and has responded very well to treatment. Mainly I just get a little stiffness in my finger joints now, and a tiny amount of skin flakiness. Untreated, I could have ended up going full "Singing Detective"...

Hope that there is treatment that can help you OP. Sending hugs xxx

Codeine and more Codeine. I find a hot water bottle helps also.

Im waiting for a hip replacement, osteoarthritis.

Some days are worst than others, and on these days I don't get much done.

I try to move as much as possible, and I bought a sitncycle to help keep my hip moving. Its not weight baring so helps.

Strength training also helps support the joints.

Food can trigger flare ups.

The wife is in the same boat. It was manageable until 2.5 years ago when she was hit by a bus. After that, the Osteoarthritis has really taken hold.

She can still get her legs in the air, so that's something of a relief for her!

I have early(ish) onset arthritis, mainly in my knees due to hypermobility Ehlers Danlos.

Had a patellofemoral knee replacement four years ago and it's possibly the worst thing I've ever done. Severe regrets.

As for the pain, codeine and more codeine.

Osteoarthritis here, knees mainly but creeping everywhere. I've tried all the usual treatments - methetrexate, sulfasalazine etc. After building an addiction to codeine, I now use medical cannabis (oil and flower) and finally, I have some respite from pain and discomfort

Yes I have unfortunately.

My biggest worry is the prospect of having to give up my biking - that would, for me, be unbearable and very depressing.

Osteoarthritis here. Cannabis. Highly recommended for pain. Smoke every night and have no pain all evening.

Pain patches are good as its a constant realise over the week so you don't have the highs and lows of pills
