"We always insist on seeing an electronic link rather than screenshots etc. The Zults app is made for this purpose and the NHS is pushing it for good reason. " Interesting...hadn't heard of it until now. Will have a look to see if our provider supports it and get some info on who owns it and what they do with the data...

"The Zults app looks good but this answer in the FAQ is a bit disappointing: Which providers are compatible with Zults? Zults connects with a growing number of labs, clinics, and telehealth platforms. If your provider isn’t listed, you can request integration, and the Zults team will reach out to them to explore a possible integration. What's the point of an FAQ that doesn't answer the question They dont connect with our provider yet but it's an interesting platform. We've requested integration but it seems very London focused which isn't surprising as the founders are down south.

What's the point of an FAQ that doesn't answer the question It's just a shame you can't see if your provider is listed without the rigmarole of installing the app, registering etc. only to find they are not listed. Has anyone got the app that can tell me if iCash are listed?

What's the point of an FAQ that doesn't answer the question Absolutely agree. I can't see iCash but it may come under the NHS umbrella. It just asks for a link to your SH account. Sadly GLISH have just moved over to postal tests and you dont set up an account. Doesn't link to the NHS app either currently.

"And if you get a positive result back. Do you notify everyone you've had sex with since your last result? Asking for a friend." That would be the considerate thing to do

"And if you get a positive result back. Do you notify everyone you've had sex with since your last result? Asking for a friend." Yes, that's the decent thing to do, I know I'd appreciate a 'heads up' if someone I'd played with had had issues with test results, to get any potential problems sorted ASAP

"The Zults app have a free sms service where they let you send anonymous text messages asking people to be tested. Makes it a bit easier to let people know when you can do it anonymously I think. " I think that if you are old enough to be meeting people to have sex then you should be responsible and mature enough to actually contact people without hiding and telling them. It's basic respect.

"Monthly testing is great, the online services are good for your own piece of mind. Would I trust someone showing me a text message or an email telling them, yes you are clear? Of what exactly. If you really want to be sure, go to a clinic and let the professionals do it. " I do go the clinic and let the professionals do it. But Cumbria services are less than stellar, there is no postal option, and there is only the "Test results all OK" text with no option for further details 💜

"My place just gives 1 comprehensive result for all of the tests I've moved. Used to either do home test / and or a trip to Dean Street. Both gave a comprehensive breakdown on the text. Now I visit my local clinic its a simple text that comes through, " your tests were clear" obviously thats all I need to know , I guess. But it's not like someone sits there at the clinic with a Nokia 9510 texting you, so I don't figure why. If someone distrusts me that much, well and that text isn't enough, bye Felicia ! Let's face it, that test is like the car MOT, only a reference to that moment it was tested.

"I will not use or accept anything else other than SH24. The service is great and the app on your phone shows your whole history. Texts, NHS screen shots etc are so easily faked. They serve a purpose for people who like to check their SH but I dont think they are particularly good for kinksters, swing scene and sex workers. You shouldn't be able to turn up to a club/job/meet and expect playtime without verification of your sexual health status. " I don't think there is anything really that is to be gained by it,either having your whole history or by using it to police club visits or even meets. The test results are a snapshot in time of when you were tested and as soon as that is gone and you've met anyone else then it could change. Your past results mean nothing as long as you have had treatment if needed. All I would think that it shows is that you take things seriously and take steps to protect yourself and others. It's as much as you can expect.

They don't here in Lincolnshire We get postal kits from GLISH with an unidentifiable sender.

"‘Testing is only a point in time’ is absolutely true. Bearing in mind it can take up to 2 weeks for Donna Rea to show their head which means that testing after only 7 days since sexual encounter could provide a false negative. Same time period for Clamie. Syph I believe is up to 6 weeks and HIV is 3 months. Testing of course is also about saving others from infection as roughly 10% of Donna carriers are asymptomatic – experience no signs spelling and grammar lessons might be a good idea!
