A couple of years ago I actually had a chat with my pharmacist about these, his reply to me was you were better off taking one when required, he said by taking them daily that eventually they would stop working as with any other tablet for example, lots of people taking antibiotics these days and the more they take them the less Effective they are in the future which to me was very understandable, so therefore I only take them when required

I was on 2.5 but bought the 5mg online and cut them in half as it was about 60% the cost that way.

They gave massive gym pumps and rock hard erections but any more than the minimum would give me head aches and allergy like symptoms. Occasionally I would take a 5mg of I had a weekend away and was expected to perform more than the average.

In my case a tight foreskin was causing physical and mental issues so haven't needed it in ages.I would look at the underlying issues for you.

This isnt meant to sound as harsh as it probably will but I'd seriously consider losing weight through diet and lifting weights. Lower body fat makes your t levels higher and cardio vascular benefits so stronger erections. Internet suggests losing fat pad makes your dick bigger plus all the non sexual benefits so a no brainer all round on my opinion.

Thanks Yea I don't really suffer at home it's mainly at clubs when I get stage fright, I'm on blood pressure meds and just wondered if a low daily dose would be easier for my body to process that a larger instant dose of viagra which tends to effect BP. But yes thanks I am dieting and going to the gym it's a work in progress

I’ve been taking 20mg as needed for years now and always get a rock hard with them. I also split them in half to top up during the week if needed or having long edging sessions. Mainly taken for the pumps mate through does help muscular endurance, recovery between sets ect due to the better blood flow. Vascularity goes through the roof as well which has no performance benefit but looks great haha

There was a report recently that Tadalafil taken daily at 5mg-10mg would help prevent strokes and heart attacks because the whole point is that blood flow increases generally.

I don't really need them for their anticipated use but I now buy 20mg and split into 4 parts. So whilst I'm hopefully improving my risk profile generally, I also note a tendency to react fairly quickly if I even vaguely think about sex!

There's no tablet in the world can fix psychological ED, that's a different kettle of fish altogether especially when it comes to "stage fright".

Strictly speaking about the tablets, for sure a daily dose of 5 to 10 mg is better than a larger dose once a week, but again I will say that if the minds combative against the act it's not going to matter.

Decided to try this last night...took 10mg at 6pm while sorting my age verification out on the porn site I'm registered with.

Yep 2ml of test will be around 500mg a week, that's not TRT that's a full on cycle... I hope you are getting regular blood work done!

TRT is usually around 100mg every 5 days (or 20mg a day if you split the dose)

I can only tell you what my pharmacist said as I was interested in getting these from my doctor. He advised, that I took to Lafield when needed and not daily as overtime, like lots of other tablets, they would stop working properly and to me, that did make sense

He had no comment to hubs saying it was quality daily 🤣 but yeah, he had no intention of helping us. Even said the BP meds he prescribed can have a side effect of ED though the reason we discovered the high BP was that ED had started and that was one of our main concerns lol

If it's stress, nip that in the bud. No one wants a heart attack in their 40s or a stroke in their 50s or 60s.

When I was 29, I had high cholestorol and had to give up my love of cheese, pastries, steak and chicken wings.

I have cheese twice a year...on holiday and at Christmas.

A lot of ED is also psychological in perfectly physically healthy individuals.... In that case time to see a sex therapist, do Kegels and tantric sex. I notice some men don't even breathe during sex...they hold their breath....holding your breath is a good way to stress your body out...too high tension and your body isn't relaxed enough to get aroused. Oh and meditate/do mindfulness.

I had to go through that to deal with my low libido. If there's a break in the mind-body connection, sex will be low to non-existent.

High BP has a genetic factor, two parents with high BP here. And high stress having 3 kids with SEND and being neurodivergent ourselves. Would love to reduce stress…. But I think we will need to wait for them to move out 🤣

I take Tamsulosin for prostate enlargement , unfortunately my erections have subsided

Plus I do not ejaculate with them . I take Viagra if meeting up , usually bite about a third off a 100mg tablet , sometimes top up if I want to be sure ! However , I find viagra has to be taken on an empty stomach , when it works very well and quickly , 20 min or so .

So I tried Tadalfil as it is recommended for ED in guys with prostate problems . I’ve found 5mg initially can give a slight headache , but subsequent doses I halve the tablet (2.5mg) which is sufficient - I get morning erections , and generally perform better , AND, I ejaculate . If I’m meeting up I top up with 30 mg or so of viagra to remove stage fright . My GP originally offered to change my meds for me , but Ive been too embarrassed to go back !!

I go to the gym , I don’t get the bit that people say it helps with gym pumps . Someone explain for me please ?

BTW , if I go back to Tamsulosin for a few days , my erections get better for about 24 hours .

Tamsulosin , Tadalfil, Viagra are all from the same family of drugs , acting similarly but different tweaks . All reduce Blood Pressure .

Just looked at this and was shocked to find one of the side effects was aching in the small of the back and the legs

I get this a lot

but at least I now know the possible cause

Repeat prescription from the GP for 10mg.They don't prescribe 20mg dosage that you can get from online pharmacies, but I explained I find the 20's more effective for the intended purpose so she was happy to double up the standard number issued. . Get 8 a month, taking 2 x 10mg, generally on a Friday PM and find the effect lasts all weekend, if reasonably aroused and cock stimulated etc.

GP unable to offer the 5mg daily ones either, but when I've bought those in the past I did think you got 'acclimatised' to them eventually.

I've just started the 5mg daily.

I've experimented with as-and-when Cialis and Tadalafil, and had some good results, but I find their effects inconsistent - which is likely due to my own inconsistency with timings and food and alcohol consumption and other factors.

I figure a daily maintenance dose could work better for me. I'll keep you posted.

BTW taking because I'm on BP meds which interfere with my erectile function.

I sometimes take half a 20mg tab on gym days as it gives amazing burn and supplies more oxygen to the muscles you are working, especially when squatting and benching.

Still wake up each morning with erection and so far all is well

Low dose is fine daily, I'm on 5mg but you wouldn't take the 20mg daily
