Like prior to an attack?

I am not sure what medication you are on, but I take seretide twice a day and that works the best for me. I notice my asthma flares the most around adult cats.

Good luck OP, my asthma developed in adulthood and it took a few trips to the hospital before I was put on this meds.

Hey, I’m a specialist emergency medic and it’s very common for asthmatics to have flare ups around cats, it’s the cats saliva that causes the reaction. I’m also asthmatic, and have this issue

OP, you should consider seeing your GP, you might be getting used to your neds, so they will need to switch it.

It happen to me, I visited the emergency room for oxygen 3 times, in 6 months, before they took xrays and realised my body had gotten used to the previous meds, the day the Dr came and change the meds and do on, was the first time I wasn't constantly hot, and feeling fainted like.

Now I am not feeling out if breath like I used to.

Lina.

I don't have pets at all.... I have pectus excavatum and hypertension and have extra sputum, especially during intense exercise.

My daughter's a chronic asthmatic, almost from birth. It runs in my side of the family on the paternal side. Seemed to have skipped me and my siblings. But she has never coughed anything up. All she has is a constant wheezing, and severe shortness of breath. She's been on ventolin and becatide all her life which seems to prevent flair ups quite well.
