Yes, but you’d need to be very lucky.

25% die within 24 hours, 50% within 3 months.

Of those that survive, 2/3rds will suffer permanent brain damage.

A minority will survive with little or no ongoing effects

Ah, apologies. I assumed you were talking about a brain aneurysm.

An aneurysm in her stomach would have a much higher chance of a good outcome.

Hope you and her are ok

So very sorry for your loss.

You'll go through many emotions over the next few days, weeks, months and even years.

Try to think about all the good memories you have of you and her together.

Best wishes.

You can't take things in when you're in shock. If you need advice libraries have books or the citizens advice centre can help.

You can Google what to do when someone dies and the government website is a good guide. It's tough as you're in no state really to do this, the hospital will contact you I'm sure.

Obviously it depends on where the Aneurysm is. If it's Aortic and bursts then it's less than a minute. A brain aneurysm yes you can live for years if treated quickly. I was in hospital with an elderly guy who was rushed in with an aneurysm on his brain and went home within a week after treatment.
