"sorry to hear about what has been happening to you i have had pacemaker issues recently and care has been brilliant hastings/eastbourne/brighton cardiologies " don't get me wrong I got rushed in as an emergency back in 2022 and spent 17 days in high dependency unit and another two weeks on a normal ward and can't fault the nurses who looked after me,just seems if your not rushed in the running of it is crap,nearly impossible to talk to anyone to find out what's going on,funniest thing is when I went in last year and first got seen I was told it would be done keyhole surgery,now because I've been left so long I now need to be cut open from my waistband to where my ribs meet and it gona take 3-4 hours,sorry for the rant lol just wondering where the free at the point of use is if you can't get to use it | |||

"Hope you get your OP soon. In Essex they canceled an in-laws heart op three times & he got fatigued enough to stop working full time which if he'd had the op he wouldn't have done. So a welfare cost could be added to the NHS failure. We have a daughter at college who had cancer when much younger. Last year she had some discomfort, turned out to be bowel growths/polyps so they went in & had a look & removed them there & then. Non cancerous in this instance but they need to know why she got them so young so sent us all off for genetic screening. Blood tests went off to one of only two labs in the whole of the UK that does this type of work. "They are very busy so we expect results back in 4-6mnths, in the meantime we might suggest an annual colonoscopy". 13mnths later we are still waiting for the blood results let alone a decision on the other. S" about the work situation,I've tried carrying on working for nearly a year but cpl of months ago I had to go get signed of by the doc so now only getting statutory sick pay and having to claim for rent and council tax so yea is costing them more and more also gona be in hospital for 7-10 days instead of overnight like I would have been when I first went in last year,is just becoming a proper bollock ache now | |||

"In all honesty, the opposite for me (I am Wales based). Diagnosed with melanoma in the middle of June, operation at the end of August and now on immunotherapy. Sadly, it's all still too much of a lottery. I hole you have your surgery soon and get on the mend quickly. " Cancer is a different pathway. | |||

It seems to be policy to deal with patients in this way. Forgive me for thinking it but it seems the administrative side of hospitals is in the hands of part-time people who are often off work unwell themselves. | |||
