Devastating, killed millions proof that if we hadn't taken COVID seriously many many more deaths could have occurred.

Yet still people would deny it.

I'm sure there's people who deny the Spanish flu pandemic happened.

It took approximately two years for people to develop a natural immunity to the Spanish flu by that time 50 million people had died.

And for those who don't understand just like COVID the flu is the catalyst but ultimately you die of complications caused by the virus.

While it was first identified in US troops toward the end of WW1 the first large outbreak was in Spain. Hence the name.

Inclusive would mean farmers would be allowed to grow food without worrying about unrealistic nitrogen emission rules (Dutch farmer strikes) or people would be allowed to travel freely (get your carbon passport ready) or even own a car and use it when they want (they don’t want you doing that either).

Politicians also tend to be arrogant bastards who think they're better than everyone else - and we live in an era where people think that they're somehow immune to disease because they're special. Further, politicians tend to have access to better healthcare than the rest of us.

So... even if they did act irresponsibly - it hardly proves that science is wrong. It proves that they're dickheads. We knew this.

I think there's been a bit of language slippage in some online communities. Some people now think that seeing someone else wearing a mask is akin to a lockdown.

I don't know how far you have to go for "lockdown" to be a thing, but I think it at least needs to entail some sort of restrictions on the general population, rather than seeing someone else do a thing.

Apart from that the common cold isn't one infectious agent, it's one of potentially hundreds of different ones, all viral. The flu is a different type of virus altogether and still not one virus, as different flu types and variants exist. Very, very different viruses though

Plenty of evidence to show that experiments were done on sick people (all jagged) where doctors took samples from their noses and mouths etc and transfared it in to people who were not sick and guess what?

It didnt spread to the healthy folk. The covid is just history repeating itself 100 years later.
