I haven't seen it but I just know it scary, dramatic, absolutely rubbish, science reporting! The story will have been drawn from a slightly misread esoteric paper. I'm pretty sure the BBC hive off their science reporting to 11 year old kids in some kind of typing sweatshop in China. Buyer beware. Just sayin'

Yes they have really dumbed down over the past few years it's like BBC light these days all credibility has been lost.

Everything is in bitesized chunks to suit today's short of attention generation.

Competing with C4 and pressure for viewers. It’s a tough one because the most expensive programs to make were often historically on the ones on BBC Two and radio four with the least viewing
