If you are happy to get a booster it will not expire, as yet.

Or.

Have a certificate of recovery.

Or

Take a test 48 hours before departure.

You may need other forms to be completed depending on your destination.

Check your passport too.

Have fun.

I had both vaccines last year.

I know i can take a test but thats a big risk as it could risk me not going. Strangly that means you can knowingly have covid but still travel as long as you're vaccinated.

It just looks like i might just have to have it

I'd test anyway... I was randomly tested when I got off the plane in April this year

If you had 2 vaccines and a booster you are covered. If you only had 2 vaccines you will, for most countries, need a booster if your second vaccine was more than 270 days ago.

Different countries have different rules, which can change quite regularly (Spain)

Yep, obviously I can only speak about the places I’ve travelled to recently.

Very true.

Go on gov.uk Web site and look for requirements to travel to different countries.

We fly to France tomorrow and although everyone says no PLF is requested at the airport the French site still has it on to complete.

Don't want any issues so completed it last night, the easiest PLF ever took about 3 minutes and QR code returned within seconds of completion.

Bring on the fun at Cap D'Agde.

A test could also be a false positive which happened to a friend recently.

hiding from cock pics.

It depends where you are going, many countries have dropped some or all of the requirements.

Check online and see what's needed where you are going.

well a PCR test is liable to pick up anything and you could have a positive PCR test result without any symptoms and the rest is history as we know.

I only got the 1st and 2nd jab-didn't go for the booster as I believe the initial jab gave me a health issue which manifested after the first jab and got worse after the 2nd jab. I've been looking at travel to Jordan and Peru. Jordan will let you in with a PCR test 2 days before and Peru too so I am not getting a booster just so I can travel. I do not believe the masks make much odds but may wear one on the plane as a precaution as several people I know who have flown recently got Covid and they think it was on the flight.

"I thought vaccines normally last for years, this doesn’t make sense"

No they don't, for example the annual winter influenza vaccine changes from year to year as virologists and statisticians try to predict which influenza strain will be most prevalent in any given year.

Some viruses like polio and smallpox didn't tend to mutate, so childhood vaccination was essentially able to give life-long protection.
