He had announced some days back that he had come in close contact with someone who had tested positive. Sometimes this is what happens, you become positive courtesy of another positive.

You’ve not seen any of the huge protests in Canada ? The protesters were called a fringe minority with the wrong views by PM Justin … turns out he and his government are in the minority and he’s now running for cover while releasing statements calling protesters racist (which is rich considering his history)

It doesn't matter how "huge" a protest is, it will always be a very small percentage of a population.

It's either that Trudaux is vaxxed and caught the lurgy or he was evacuated to a place of safety after his official residence was attacked.

Given the thread head, I'm going with the latter.

Wrong. Basically every other vaccine on the market you get something called immunity. Which means you don't get sick, and you don't transmit the disease either. Immunity generally lasts a long time, 10+ years.

This is straight from the CDC:

The MMR vaccine is very safe and effective. Two doses of MMR vaccine are about 97% effective at preventing measles; one dose is about 93% effective.

People who receive MMR vaccination according to the U.S. vaccination schedule are usually considered protected for life against measles and rubella.

https://www.science.org/content/article/how-long-do-vaccines-last-surprising-answers-may-help-protect-people-longer

Recent studies show vaccines for mumps, pertussis, meningococcal disease, and yellow fever also lose their effectiveness faster than official immunization recommendations suggest. Vaccines have been a crucial public health tool for decades, so it may seem strange that their durability isn't well understood. But vaccines are approved and come to market years before it's clear how long protection lasts. Later, fading protection can go unnoticed because a vaccine in wide use has largely eliminated transmission of the microbes it protects against, making "breakthrough" infections rare. Even if viruses or bacteria are still in circulation, people vaccinated against them will sometimes receive natural boosting of their immunity. And declining vaccine immunity is not an all-or-nothing phenomenon: A breakthrough infection often leads to much less severe symptoms of the disease.

It's very honestly a vaccine, it's very honestly in the last 14 months cut deaths albeit they are still sadly not as low as we all would hope yes?

Given that the Sun Bioweapon story says; "China is feared to have spent decades illicitly researching biological weapons at dozens of secretive sites ahead of a potential apocalyptic World War 3.

The vast country is home to at least 50 covert labs where state scientists are thought to have manufactured deadly "bacteria bombs", stockpiled deadly pathogens such as Anthrax, and even probed weaponising coronaviruses" I'm not really sure why you feel the story confirms the Covid vaccines aren't vaccines.

I'd suggest if the story is even remotely true you'd better hope there are some vaccines available.

In short, the story you suggested researching doesn't support your assertion.

Why not make the virus a bio weapon instead? Then you wouldn’t need consent and everyone would get it…

Around 1/3 of the country voted for him. I reckon they very much regret it today. Especially when they see him flee the chamber when asked some awkward questions. If he had majority backing then he'd have no need to run and hide. He's a worthless piece of shit in my opinion...

The right to protest has always been balanced against the right of citizens to have a peaceful life.

Your right to protest does not override all other rights.

Also if you are going to protest the government then protest the government not the regular person in the street.

I'm sure if I blockaded your neighbourhood you would be keen on authorities taking action to clear it after a few days.

The impact of a protest should be equivalent to its support, this was hardly a million march which would have justified the level of disruption.

I thought it was a reasoned argument as one line throw away comments rarely are able to tease out the nuance of a debate.

Compare this to the poll tax protests or stop the war protests which had much higher levels of public support. Even the global warming protests

I think most people can see that any protest needs equivalent public support to justify the level of impact it has.

How long would Priti Patel allow the Channel tunnel to be blocked before sending in the goon squad? weeks? days? probably hours in reality.

You cant compare the enviromental protesters in london who at worst cause an incovinicene, sometimes a major inconvenience to the truckers who were doing serious harm to the Canadian economy, affecting millions of citizens and costing hundreds of millions of dollars a day. Just not comparable.

The truckers were allowed their protest, they had their 'freedom convoy', drove into Ottowa and staged a protest on the bridge at the border. Job done, protest made and recognised. They should have moved on then.

I actually think the Canadian govmnt was quite tollerant compared to what ours would have done. They were asked politely to leave, they refused. A court order was made directing them to leave, they refused. The police asked them to leave and gave them a deadline, most left the hardcore remained. Cant then complain if police come in to forcibly remove those whe were remaining as all opportunities to leave of their own volition had been igonred.

What exaclty were the police supposed to do with them? Let them stay as long as they wanted? They needed to move and refused to do so, law enforcement did their job.

Any sympathies the truckers may have had with the population was lost when they prolonged their blockade.

"The right to protest has always been balanced against the right of citizens to have a peaceful life.

That's a lot of word's for 'i disagree with their protests so fuck em'

I thought it was a reasoned argument as one line throw away comments rarely are able to tease out the nuance of a debate.

Compare this to the poll tax protests or stop the war protests which had much higher levels of public support. Even the global warming protests

I think most people can see that any protest needs equivalent public support to justify the level of impact it has.

I would say that if the cowardly piece of shit had gone and spoken to the truckers, opened a dialogue and worked with them then the whole thing may not have lasted as long.

He couldn't wait to take the knee along side the BLM protesters and bow down to the demands. Strange when you consider the worthless scumbag is an out and out racist. Black face in public several times, native American mimicking and all sorts of middle eastern dressing up.

The 'man' is a maggot.

I think your getting a little over excited here .... the truckers were allowed a protest, that protest went on weeks before the police moved in. Cant think of any other democratic country that would allow the blocking of a major economic artery for so long by so few.

Lets not forget that here in the bastion of the commomwealth, the jewew in the crown if you go sit down on the M1 for a minute to block traffic (never mind weeks) you face jail time. Weve more issues here in the UK without worrying about a few truckers in Canada who have spat their dummies out. If Priti has her way the police only have to 'think' you are going to a protest to arrest you. The Bristol protest has lead to 15 people getting a combined 51yr in prison, 5 charged with 'riot' which carries a 10yr sentence for 'kicking' out at a police shield'

Need to be more concerened here rather than Canada

Why should 'kicking out at a police shield' not be punished? These thugs seem to think it's their right to assault people who are in uniform doing their job.

You missed the point .... which was the over-reaction of authorities to protest. Wasnt saying it is 'ok' to kick out at a police shield or that there shouldnt be a punishment for doing that. But a charge of 'riot' and up to 10yrs imprisonment is draconian and authoritarian. Even the law society have said that the police are 'over charging'.

If kicking out at a shield at a protest can get you 10yrs prison then thats one quick way of putting people off protesting. And when the police know that then whats to stop them being overly physical. Thats the point I was making not that an assault on the police is not a criminal offence.

Thugs who intentionally go out to casue trouble do indeed need dealing with.

But you could be 'peacefully protesting' and the police decide to push everyone back using shields, you put your foot out to stop them pushing you back or face been trampled and you get 10yrs prison. The punishment does not fit the crime and is indicative of a drift to authouritainism.

While coronavirus shots still provided protection during the omicron wave, the shield of coverage they offered was weaker than during other surges, according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The change resulted in much higher rates of infection, hospitalization and death for fully vaccinated adults and even for people who had received boosters.

Nobody was getting blown up during the first three weeks of the trucker protest.

They're quick to defend 'democracy' when it's halfway across the world but when it's on the doorstep.... nothing.

Must be the wrong type of democracy that the truckers are protesting for

Whats wrong with people who support terrorism having their bank accounts frozen? Perfectly reasonable, proportianate and sensible approach.

In Canada, section 83.01 of the Criminal Code[1] defines terrorism as an act committed "in whole or in part for a political, religious or ideological purpose, objective or cause" with the intention of intimidating the public "…with regard to its security, including its economic security, or compelling a person, a government or a domestic or an international organization to do or to refrain from doing any act."

The truckers should have thought about that before blockading a major economic artery of a democratic country, a few hundred truckers directly or indirectly affecting 31m citizens whilst making undreasonable demands of the elected government.

They had their convoy, they had their protest, they then went too far with the blockade and insistance the Government gave in to their demands, the law caught up with them. The irony isnt lost on me that in protesting about government control it resulted in the enactment of the Emergencies Act which gave the Government even more control.

Smart move Truckers

As entertaining as your mini meltdown is I feel i should point out that to be a 'terrorist' doesnt necessarily mean you have to be blowing yourself or others up. Pretty basic understanding which im sure you have.

The definition of 'terrorism' under Canadian law is clear.

If your'e saying the truckers werent causing severe and ongoing economic harm to the state, werent causing distress to innocent canadians and werent making demands to a government to reverse/cancel a policy (they didnt like ) then what are you saying? because all the above falls within the Canadian definition of 'terrorism'

There is nothing 'scumbag' about recognising the acts of 'scumbags' to be what they really are.

The most generous description is a minority group of selfish truckers who tried to bring a government down because they didnt want to comply with the rules during a national public health emergency. Rules I might add that the vast majority of the population agreed with.

Once you start affecting the lives of innocent citizens, cause a severe and ongoing impact on the economy and make unilateral and unreasonable demands of the government in exchange for the blockade lifting you have gone beyond 'protesting'. They messed up going on for weeks and lost what little public support they may have had.

Dont be silly, Guantanano is an American base. I wouldnt have shipped them off anywhere, let them have their convoy, enter the City, park on the bridge and protest for a day or two.

Once it impacted innocent Canadians, like the ones who were laid off work because much needed supplies werent able to reach factories and were left facing a shortage in their pay packet. Or when the economic impact to the Nation was seriously affected. The it was time for them to be moved. The Truckers were lucky they were allowed to stay as long as they were. Particularly as they were a tiny minority, that public opinion was strongly against them and that fringe right wing loons were jumping on the bandwagon. Let them have their 'ego' protest and move them on so ordinary people can get on with life.

Dont need to be 'deadly' to be a terrorist, read the Canadian Law definition on that. And nope the people sending money to the truckers werent themselves terrorists, just supporting a terrorist group. Which you can do from a bouncy castle, wheelchair or BBQ

Perhaps you think a few hundred disenfranchised non-compliant truck drivers should be setting public health policy for the other 31m Canadians?

This paragraph, where you quote Canadian law... In Canada, section 83.01 of the Criminal Code[1] defines terrorism as an act committed "in whole or in part for a political, religious or ideological purpose, objective or cause" with the intention of intimidating the public "…with regard to its security, including its economic security, or compelling a person, a government or a domestic or an international organization to do or to refrain from doing any act."

.... could also refer to the actions of the Canadian government. By blocking peaceful protest, assault on the citizens, interface with financial security etc.... would certainly have the fascist government and it's hard men fit under the same umbrella as what you think a 'terrorist' is.

If you think that the action of the 'graduate leader from the world economic forum' is a fair minded strategy then it says more about you than I wish to know. This time last year and in the year before that, Trudeau refered to the truckers as heroes and as the life blood of Canada. Fast forward to Jan22 and they are refered to as terrorists.

I would never refer to someone as a 'scumbag' over this. Scumbags have a little more empathy, dignity, self awareness, compassion and intelligence....not much, just slightly.

I wonder if you apply the same set of rules to BLM riots and protests or extinction rebellion global warming protesters. Your terrorist holding camps (wherever in the world they may be) would be bursting at the seems...

Yep he did refer to the Truckers as heroes last year and the year before.

Fast forward to Jan22 and a very small minority of those Truckers decided to sever the main artery of the very same life blood Canada needs to survive in an attempt to extort their undemocratic and unrealistic demands.

It is to that minority he refered to as terrorists and not the truckers as a 'whole' as well you know.

Is it too hard for you to admit they went too far? Or is it you are happy a few hundred people can hold a country to ransom? The government wasnt going to ascede to their demands and rightly so. So what was your end game then? they stay on the bridge ad-infinitum and cause untold economic and disrupt ordinary citizens life? That just leads to anarchy where anyone unhappy about the government is allowed to do whatever they want to get their own way as long as they call it a 'peacful protest'. It doesnt work like that.
