Saw a profile the other day for a couple who would only see unvaccinated people. I don't get it. Do they think they are going to catch being unvaccinated?

Unvaccinated without any symptoms are less likely to be infectious. Guess that’s their reasoning.

Why is that? I think that's the question being asked. It's one thing to decide not to be vaccinated, but what's wrong with meeting people who are vacinnated?

I am pretty certain that when the day comes that the Covid Pandemic is officially declared over and we are “living with it in the same way we do with Flu” that those sort of swinging “restrictions” will quietly disappear.

At the end of the day, everyone has the choice and right to determine what goes into their body...

- vaccines

- drugs

- cocks (vaccinated or unvaccinated)

It is all about PERSONAL CHOICE

I agree it's about personal choice but I'm not sure why they would not want to meet with someone who was vaccinated.

Perhaps it's more of a political than medical thing?

I mean I don't meet people who have "No *insert ethnic group here*. Not racist just personal preference" in their profile but I don't think I'm going to catch racism.

The question would be

Do vacinated people take more risks in meeting people than unvacinated people

It all depends if the unvacinated people take precautions as well.

There is a view that some vaccinated people have thrown caution to the wind. That combined with the chance that they could be carrying Covid but do not know as the vaccine reduces likelihood of developing symptoms, means that, perversely, an unvaccinated person may actually be safer to meet because they a) are still being careful and b) if they contract Covid they know it because they develop symptoms.

Leaky vaccines could be one reason and with this particular one not really being it’s been touted as then lol nah as people had to do what they seen as doing the right thing to keep themselves safe then this one does that too. Aside the less option the better. As I’ve seen vaccinated people state also people would not be on a similar level mentally in some aspects. I love and have respect for all but sharing bodily fluids is something different.

Its a well developed point, but then there is also the view that some of the unvaccinated never had a care to throw to the wind in the first place so may have behaved recklessly and not followed any sensible precautionary measure throughout the pandemic. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated can have Covid and not show symptoms so thats tricky to call.

On your final points, A is only valid if the unvaxinated person has been careful, but then that can also apply to a vaxinated person if they have been careful and B isnt relevant to either as it is highly possible to be asymptomatic.

The only way to avoid a 'covid' positive meeting is to take mutual LFT tests in person before shenanigans begin. And even then thats hoping for a test that is accurate. It may or may not catch on.

I gues sit can be a joke as well. Whenever I have been seeing only meet vaccinated I always want to put on our fab that we only meet unvaccinated.

It's just pure stupid especially as now known that vaccinated can carry it as easy or even easier as can be asymptomatic. And this vaccine just protects the owner who got it. Like noone has a right to ask my medical history . Do they want me to be vaccinated for measles ,chicken pox etc? Or I can be a carrier as well? It's just silly. In swinging I think we have bit more serious things to worry about than COVID . Like HIV or some serious STI's that can affect your life quiet badly as well.

Think yourself lucky. Because I (we) generally take the middle ground (ie neither pro vax or anti vax but certainly pro choice) we get drive by messages from nutters on both sides (and get blocked)! Generally insulting, often patronising.

Saying that we do also get a lot of lovely messages of support (thanks peeps you know who you are).

"I agree it's about personal choice but I'm not sure why they would not want to meet with someone who was vaccinated.

That's a fair point. I guess. Probably a more valid point on a site the purpose of which is not to meet strangers and exchange bodily fluids.

scary…. a whole generation of humans (mostly developed and wealthy countries) have been given experimental juices.

Let’s hope to be there to see what happens next

Go anywhere near one of the anti vax protests and one gets passively high on second hand smoke!

"Saw a profile the other day for a couple who would only see unvaccinated people. I don't get it. Do they think they are going to catch being unvaccinated?

I would have no desire to meet with any vaccinated person regardless of how compatible desirable or willing they were. "

Trials of HIV Vaccine starting based on the same mRNA technologies that brought COVID jabs. Are people also going to refuse these vaccines with the same division as COVID or snatch their hands off to get them?

Suppose it's logical to meet someone for sex who has refused to take a Vaccine for it?

Funny, we have caught covid twice. In each occasion brought into our household by "vaccinated" people. The first one by a double vaxed before the third jab was available, the second time by my ex who is a triple vaxed person, who gave it to my kids.

There is one thing in common.... Both vaxed people went to a large party and caught it. They did not care about others as they saw themselves as superhuman. They did not understand that you Could still catch and pass it. Both were ill, a lot more ill than us.

The point that I make is that we hesitate to meet fully vaxed people because of this. The vaccine hides the original symptoms before it takes hold then it seems to make people ill. By that point it's been passed on.

Therefore I actually see vaccinated people as more dangerous to our household.

On a flip point are vaccinated people actually vaccinated? We have had double jabs... No not enough and a third booster that lasts weeks..... Who can actually stand up and say that we are fully vaxed? Again another reason to be wary.

Stay safe.

You are aware that the current crop of vaccines are still in experimental stages... Yet the whole population have taken it? That's why the newspapers report weekly on new vaccine findings. Scary that we are reading about new findings and the drug is actually in our bodies? That does not worry you?

A trial for hiv vaccines are great but as you said yourself it's a trial... It will take years for this vaccine to be rolled out as it will be properly tested. Unlike the current covid vaccines.

Reality pill needed here I'm afraid.

I am so worried..

Mutant Ninja syndrome setting in..

As for catching COVID from vaccinated people, more then likely you did as 90% of the population have taken it.

Not sure who told you that the vaccine stops infection of others, that was never the promise.

Don't know how many times I've heard it "vaccine helps reduce chances if being severely ill".

If it's more than likely that we caught covid from 90% of the population that have had the vaccine then why are people sooo worried about the unvaxed.

As for the vaccine and spreading..... Check out any politician including Johnson... All on you tube, stating that this vaccine will get us back to normal. Indeed all media and press outlets stated the same. No where wad there small print that stated you would still fall ill and spread it.

Source.... Check any newspapers and you tubes of politicians when the vaccine came out.

It was not till the jabs where given that the newspapers started the narrative that you could still catch and spread it.... Again living the experiment that you love and enjoy.

So that's where I got it. Sorry to pop the bubble. The vaccine was mis sold.

Are we getting back to normal?

There's no vaccine to stop people getting flu and colds.

Would you rather be locked down forever?

no they didn't say it would mean you didn't spread it ... they said that it would help reduce the spread and the severity of it.
