"Contradiction a bit there.... Here and now? Future is unknown.... Why don't you ring the clubs or search for their profiles on here. " Ok you have a point but, just to get an idea...

"As far as I know all you need is proof of a LFT negative. That’s all we had to provide at Townhouse " Any idea where I would get a LFT please? Would it be a Boots or the local NHS branch? I've stopped following the UK news since October 2020...I don't mean to come across as lazy...

"We can't tell you what the rules are for next week right now let alone in the spring! Maybe choose a club and start from there. " Another poster mentioned choosing a club. Don't tell me each club in England has its own rules about COVID credentials!? Or did I misunderstand something?

"In the UK, right now, what would I need to possess in terms of "credentials" in order to comply with whatever COVID rules there are? I am asking for the future because I would like the idea of attending select bi events in the spring of 2022, assuming of course we would be allowed to travel etc by then..." At the moment in England, I don't think that there are any rules that apply to Swinging Clubs. Most clubs are applying their own rules in an attempt to keep people as safe as they can do. The "Plan B" rules for England say you need a Covid Pass or LFT for entry into indoor venues with more than 500 people, which I expect is much more than most (if not all) UK swinging Clubs. Cal

Your better of contacting the club you want to go to closer to the time. Right now different clubs are requiring different things so your still better off ringing the club you want to go to, to get that information. But if you want to be covered for all eventualities, then be up to date with your vacations. Download and setup your NHS app (not the Covid one) and take a lateral flow test on the day of your visit. You can get hold of the LFT from https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests , a testing center near you or a pharmacy.

Look on the .gov website for locations near your postcode. As you're not following the news it is national news today that LFT stocks are out, everywhere. You'll be lucky to find a kit, best possibility is to ask friends to kind you until you get some. With New Year, they'll be in very high demand. I've found independent Chemists most reliable than supermarket Chemists.

"New Government Guidelines From 15 December 2021, certain venues and events will be required by law to check that all visitors aged 18 years or over are fully vaccinated (currently a full course of vaccination without the need for a booster, but this will be kept under review), have proof of a negative test in the last 48 hours, or that they have an exemption. This means that those aged 18 years or over must show their NHS COVID Pass, or an alternative proof of a negative test result, such as an email or text proof, to gain entry into these venues. You can access your NHS COVID Pass through: - the NHS App (Google Play) App Link) - NHS.UK - A letter that you can obtain on NHS.UK or by calling 119 The NHS COVID Pass lets you share your COVID vaccination status and test results in a secure way for entry to domestic venues or events. You can obtain an NHS COVID Pass two weeks after completing a full course of vaccination or with a negative test in the last 48 hours. The NHS COVID Pass can be obtained with two doses (or one of the single-dose Janssen vaccine), but we will keep this under review as boosters are rolled out. You can also obtain an NHS COVID Pass if: You have received a trial vaccine as part of a formally approved COVID-19 vaccine trial in the UK You have a medical reason that means you cannot be vaccinated, confirmed by your GP or a specialist clinician You can also show email or text proof of your negative test result in order to gain entry to these venues. The use of the NHS COVID Pass is required as a condition of entry into the following places: - nightclubs, dancehalls and discotheques; - other late night dance venues. These are any other venues that are: - open between 1am and 5am; - serve alcohol during this time; 4 - have a dancefloor (or designated space for dancing); and provide music, whether live or recorded, for dancing' from .gov." Doesn’t apply to private members clubs with no alcohol licence and serve food

"Some clubs you just have temp check" That’s really useful when the majority of omicron cases don’t have a temperature
