Anyone else had letters delivered from Chief Vet at DEFRA in regards to bird flu outbreak around Lancashire.

I've had one, not to pick up or let pets eat or handle dead birds and keep domestic birds inside.

North West

Been getting texts and emails constantly from DEFRA about it since about November time. All poultry should be kept indoors now and strict biosecurity measures in place. This has been going on for some time.

Notts/Derby

Derby has had an avian flu control zone in place since mid-November.

I reported a neighbour a couple of years ago and local school during an outbreak near here.

They both got visits from DEFRA, but never had a letter before.

No national lockdowns for chickens!

Let them run free!
