Do they accept anti vaxxers?"

What kind of a sick question is that then? Are you supporting medical experimentation on another human being without consent?

If that's the case, I know what I'd do with you!

I'm genuinely interested in what you read in either the post you replied to, or any of the preceeding posts, to arrive at the "medical experimentation on another human being without consent" position?

I'm not seeing the connection.

Winston

My bad - misinterpretation on my behalf!

I apologize for the comment I made in response to that question, @ _icolerobbie. It was unwarranted.

And thank you for hauling me up on it, Winston. Much appreciated.

Though it does surprise me that an "anti vaxxer" would want to what I would consider "aid and abet". If you've read my Forum contributions, you'll have an idea of my views.

Out in GP land they are asking staff where I work to only take 2 days off over Christmas instead of the 4 days we were getting.

At the moment it's just voluntary but watch this space.

Stoke area

As a previously qualified nurse I applied for paid work as a vaccinator one year ago this week. I completed the online training and get emails telling me I'll be notified when I'm needed.

In the meantime I'm doing admin at a busy vaccine centre voluntarily since March. There are people like myself, done hours of training online, with loads of experience that aren't being utilised.

They are asking volunteers to return to assist. Many of us never left

I'm the same. Been doing 2 jobs for 11 months now, using my leave over Christmas to vaccinate. Starting to run out of steam but will carry on. Struggling locally to get enough staff to fill shifts xx

I would have thought the army and navy would have medically trained personnel who could help out for a few weeks or at least some to help with administration and marshalling etc

Even if they're medically trained they'll still need to do the specific training and competencies but that can be done relatively quickly

I used my leave over Easter and summer and did all the bank holidays in April, May and August. It's tough, isn't it?
